Acting ignorant is not an easy s**t to do, especially when those around you are so damn attentive. Badok didn’t see much of any change in me, probably because he never paid attention to me in the past, but Nate Liam noticed something was wrong with me. They kept questioning me repeatedly, and I kept blaming my menstrual cycle.
Two weeks and I can’t keep blaming it on my monthly cycle. Liam used me, he betrayed, he used my emotions to keep me from running away. I’m nothing but a bargaining chip, he said. My parents, whom I believed to be dead, are really alive.
If they are alive, why didn’t they come for me? Why aren’t they fulfilling Liam’s request so I can get out of here? Did they ever care for me? Am I even important to anybody? Who should I trust? Absolutely no one.
