Did I listen to Liam’s orders to leave his penthouse? No, I did not. I waited for him, hoping to see his face again, but then he sent Nate to vacate me from the building.
Nate is a totally different case. If there is any word greater than despise, then that is what Nate feels towards me. He’s happy to push me out of the building, more than eager to watch me being humiliated. I know what I did to him was wrong, I used his friendship, and I betrayed him, breaking whatever trust he had for me.
His anger toward me is justified which is why I’m ready to accept whatever he dishes out. An apology is expected from me, and I’ll do that once I’m done with Liam.
The heartbreaking aspect of it all is that I’m still going to break their trust again if I eventually earn it again.
