I was still very sleepy and tired from that late night trip I had with Brian. Fortunately for him, school today would begin at noon and be done in about two hours’ time. Had he been in a public school we wouldn’t have gone for the trip.
There was a rare type of fish that came to the nearby lake once every three months and they were best seen at night due to their bioluminescence. I loved fishing occasionally and to Brian being the science nerd he loved seeing them.
We got back at two a.m. tired but very happy to have seen them. They had flocked in plenty this time round. He had gone to sleep on the return trip and I had to carry him up the stairs to his room.
