It was Monday morning and I was at The Enchanted Gardens’ front desk. I was as happy as a lark. Brian was coming home today in the evening so I had requested to enter the morning shift. Even the staff at the house were all happy that Brian was coming back, apparently it was very rare for him to be away for more than two days.
I was also happy that last night I spent the night with Jayden. I had fallen asleep in his arms, cuddled and feeling content.
“Looks like somebody got some morning glory,” a voice said behind me. I turned back to see Cynthia smirking at me.
“No I didn’t,” I blushed furiously. “Wait, is it that obvious?”
Cynthia touched my face lightly as if afraid of breaking it. “Yep, smooth skin that’s radiating, a face that is glowing and that smile.”
