Madison “I"m here, Mama.” I dropped the small bunch of my mama"s favorite tulips on the grass in front of her gravestone before lowering myself to sit with her. I did this a lot, though no one ever knew I came here. I never knew my mama, but that didn"t mean I didn"t love her just as much as any other daughter would. My parents wanted me more than anything. My mama was infertile. From the stories my dad told me of her, I knew she was so strong. So brave. So loving and kind to everyone she met. The day that my parents met, my mama told my father that she wanted babies. She wanted to be a mother, that was her only dream in her life. And somehow, by some miracle, I was born. But my sweet mama passed away during my delivery. It took me a long time to feel right about coming here,
