Chapter Seven The next day, back from her early morning walk on the beach, Sierra headed for the resort. She had agreed to go the gala charity event with Phoenix. In effect they both knew she had agreed to more than that. Knowing she would soon be alone with the man she had been physically attracted to from the start left her with an acute sense of anticipation that released a heat surging through her body. Striding up the steps, she chided herself. Stopping by the kitchen, she expected to see Bijon by the stove or the sink, but the room, gleaming in the early morning light was empty.
