Chapter 59 - The New Family

It’s been nearly two agonizing months of Franco and I not being together physically, despite me being more than able to help him if need be during the night. Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to spend any more nights with him but I do feel a little bit of comfort since I know who his current carer is.
It looks like we might have another one in our corner, because Franco called the woman I thought was his wife back in Paris, his carer Mara. He explained the situation and she was happy to come to New York and help for a couple of months. I am told she liked me from the first time she saw me, therefore she is rooting for us. Oddly enough, knowing this soothes me, because I don’t see her as a threat, no matter how irrationally jealous I sometime
