I was glad Brandy was gone. It meant I could do my dirty work in peace.
Even though I couldn’t prove it, I knew she was using Nate to dig into my past. I knew she was searching for the truth, wanting to know why I was suddenly going after Cain Ross. She was playing both sides, using Axel to gain information and was possibly trading sensitive information with him, in order to try and gain the upper ground over me.
