Progress on the new race was slow for Satan. Each process took a long time to recover from and periods of time needed to be waited out in between each transformation. Satan turned a woman next in the hope that she could breed with Adam, and of course he renamed her Eve.The new creatures did not hunger for food nor thirst for water. What they craved was blood, be it animal or human. They did not need blood to stay alive but they craved it none the less. So much so that it was discovered that a period of 3 months being denied of blood was all it took to send a vampire irreversibly insane. Within 2 years Satan had transformed 14 of his subjects into members of his new race but they did not hold all the powers that Satan did and each were different in what powers they had and to what degree. Adam certainly had the magnetism. At first, Satan had thought the man's attraction amongst the followers was down to his status within the group, but the women from the wider population also threw themselves at him in numbers. He was so good at seducing them into sinning but no babies had yet been produced from the rampant fornicating from neither vampire girl nor mortal. It was one of his newly turned women who first suggested having one of them attempt the process using their blood to transform others in order to increase the numbers more quickly. When they attempted it and it worked they celebrated long and hard. The party inevitably turned very wild and turned into a one week orgy that grew and grew as word spread amongst the mortals of the twisted deeds occurring at the place. The party had inadvertently been a very successful recruitment drive and Satan's followers had more than doubled. Sadly the girl who performed the transfusion that kicked off the party missed out as she was still recovering.
Thus a second generation of this new breed of creature began. It was discovered they were not as powerful as the ones created directly from Satan but they were immortal and still superior to the humans. The first generation of Satan's creatures asserted their superiority over the second and treated them as subbmissives leading them to revolt and beg Satan to let them out into the wider world to spread sin. Satan, content with how the population was growing, agreed and sent all second generation vampires out into the world. They had little trouble integrating with the humans and many of them took in ones who were willing to become slaves in order to prove themselves worthy to be turned. The first generation wept at Satan's feet at the unfairness of it "How could you do this to is Master? Give the Earth to a superior race just like God did to you. Have we not been devoted enough? " They whined. "You are my strongest subjects I need you here to help defend any attacks" Satan told them, "I've recieved word that God has been creating super beings in order to destroy your kind". So they stayed behind in Satan's lair increasing their numbers and conducting experiments.
Through these experiments they discovered new, better ways to turn humans. They discovered that if they drank almost all the human's blood then they had the sustenance to withstand the process and only suffer a day or two of weakness. The human on the other hand would be rendered comatose for a day or two whilst the body transformed. Their numbers exploded and word of these creatures started to spread amongst the mortal folk, striking fear into their souls. Some humans dismissed such rumours as hearsay but others, who had lost cattle or sons and daughters, sought out any information they could on how to protect themselves from these unholy vermin. Many wild theories flew around on how to kill or deter them but only one thing could protect them and that was total devotion to God for the Lord protected his people. God had also bestowed special powers to some of his most holy followers and tasked them with killing these abominations, for the vampire's only weakness was attack from a holy person or holy weapons.
The vampires spread across the globe sampling the wide variety of human blood that was out there. The most pure at heart tasted so sweet but they were usually the most devoted ones so the vampires could not touch them. The blood that was most desirable was that of a young virgin woman, it was sweeter and more addictive than the nectar that the old Gods were always going on about. Children tasted bitter but once a girl reached womanhood with her virginity in tact, her blood matured like a fine wine. It was so addictive that several vampires had driven themselves insane by refusing any other blood but unable to get enough in areas of high promiscuity. Many experiments were conducted with how far you could go with a virgin woman before her blood turned. These were fun experiments to conduct, not like the ones to see how long a vampire could go without blood or the effects of it. Some vampires were working on a cure for the insanity caused by lack of blood, green with envy at the ones who got to perform the virgin testing.
As proud as he was of his new race, Satan was also consumed with jealousy of his 'children' for they never aged and remained youthful and desirable. Satan did not age but the many transformations he had performed had taken their toll on his body and left it deformed and ravaged. Women no longer threw themselves at him out of lust, only for status. He could take over the body of any of his vampires, and often did in order to lay with their consorts and once again feel what it was like to be lusted after, but it was a downgrade of powers for Satan. His strongest vampires suffered the same affliction after having carried out the process many times themselves. Satan sent out word to his vampires to bring him the strongest, fastest and sexiest men they could find and he would test them then pick out 12 of them to distribute around the Earth and use as vessels.
Leon was one of these men. A vampire called Freya had fallen in lust with him the moment she first saw him. He had thick, dark brown hair, even darker brown eyes and a chiseled body just screaming to be caressed. He reminded Freya of Adam and in her eyes he was as perfect as a human could get. She tried her hardest to seduce him using her hypnotism and powers of persuasion but the man's heart was too devoted to another. Enraged Freya killed the object of his affection and continued her crazed stalking of the adonis by killing every woman he ever got close to. After four women, Leon was named as a suspect and put on trial. Tortured by the losses of these women and the thought of being locked away for the rest of his life, Leon contemplated suicide. Freya had originally been OK with him being locked up, she could always keep an eye on him then and torment him by turning into small animals and creeping into his cell. It was what he deserved, she thought, after cruelly rebuffing her many advances. After she heard about Satan's plea for sexy men she'd had second thoughts. The vampires turned by Satan himself were known to be the most powerful and she wanted that for her Leon. Maybe he would be so grateful for the opportunity that he would give her another chance but nothing she could do would ever quell the hatred he had for her, even if she spent a millenia trying to make it up to him.
Leon was picked as one of Satan's 12 and was stationed in his homeland of England where he spent a century travelling the width and breadth of his country as well as other countries on occasion. He decided to settle after falling in love with a rustic stately home he stumbled upon by pure serendipity after getting lost travelling from one city to another. The old lady who owned the house was so lovely to him that he decided not to kill her and instead helped her to look after the house. She had 3 beloved cats and an equally beloved garden but couldn't stop the cats from messing in her garden so Leon would transform into a dog whenever he sensed the animals thinking about doing it and chase them off. The old lady had bad eyesight so she just thought he was playing dog noises on his phone and running around on all fours. She loved him dearly as she had no family and he helped her to fix up the house and hired staff to help out too. She died 3 years after Leon had arrived, never knowing that the staff were all slaves. She never ventured out to the stables or barn so she never saw the changes he had made in them. The mezzanine of the barn now housed a four poster bed and shackles and whips lined the walls downstairs. Strange items of furniture had also appeared on the ground floor and a glass cabinet that once held the old ladies plate collection now displayed a wide variety of different sized probes. In the stables, more of the strange items of furniture filled the stalls which were once occupied by horses and the whip collection had certainly grown. It was ideal for Leon, just enough out of the way so as not to attract any attention yet not too far from two cities he could travel to to hunt. He felt he could settle here and be very happy.
