VIII. The Never Have I Ever

Lisa POV

I've been busy with the past few weeks and able to survived. A lot has going on since this is the season for company audits. Jennie made a lot of progress and gradually starts to do hands on all by herself.

From frequent lunch to just seeing her twice or if lucky thrice this week.

I did my best to act casual and keep my distance from her.

It's really hard.

I found myself most of the time staring without her knowing and showing her where to eat which is my lamest excuse to spend more time with her.

Now that she's always on her room, I sometimes wander around near her department just to get a chance to caught a glimpse of her.

I sighed.

I fired up the engine and starts to drive to Chu's bachelor party. Their wedding will be this weekend.

Seulgi, Wendy and Bam prepared it for her since I can't be bothered.

"Why are we here? I'm atleast expecting us to be in a strip club or something." Chu frustratingly said as she goes back and forth in Wendy's backyard.

It'll be more fun if Chaeng hears what coming out from Chu's mouth right now.

"Chu, we asked permissions from our wives. We did everything for them and still they didn't allow us. I don't want to argue with my wife or else she'll pop my baby in no time," Wendy frowned.

"Or if she agreed, we will all be fetched by a raging pregnant woman with a rusty samurai on her hand. We will all die in tetanus." Wendy nervously looked at the sword hanging in their living room.

Which I remember, Joy loves to call it her version of fire extinguisher.

And Wendy is the fire to be extinguished.

"Yeah, Chu. You know what Irene said? I can be there but she'll twist my head 360 degree so I'll be able to see the whole girls in strip club. As if I'll be alive after that." Seulgi exclaimed.

I smirked. Irene is the most brutal.

I always thought that their wedding is actually a ceremony for us to offer a live present, like a goat in ancient times, which is Seulgi, to Lord Irene. So we can be spared from her wrath all throughout the course of our lifetime.

"Or my wife to cut my balls?" Bam looked down and gulped.

Palisa maybe sweet to look at. Don't be deceived.

They all looked in my direction next. Waiting for me to say something.

Silence.

No one stopping me from going to those places.

I'm single. I get it.

But on the brighter side...

I grinned at these poor-looking domesticated partners.

"Chu, I think it's fine to be here. Did you tell Chaeng that these guys initially planned us to be there?"

I'm too tired to go out anyway.

Chu stopped and think.

"Ahmm... no? I'll just act surprised and throw you all outside the bus. Ofcourse I will save myself. Chaeng will gut me if I asked for permission," Chu scratched her head.

"See, even you. So let's settle here. Where are they anyway?" I curiously asked.

"With Chaeng, Joy said that they'll go shopping and just have dinner. Jennie's with them."

Jennie POV

"Woooooo!!! Take it offf!!!!" Irene keep on cheering on the guys in the platform wearing nothing but a thong.

"Hahaha! Thanks, girls and Jungkook! Never thought that gay bars would be this fun! Cheers!!!" Chaeng shouted.

"Yeeeaaaah! Hey! Make sure this is just an iced tea!" Joy squealed.

I laughed at this silly girls.

I bet their partners doesn't have an idea where we are.

Lisa POV

Chu was left with no choice but to agree to just drink here in Wendy's backyard. They setup a cozy chairs outside and Bam starts to grill meats in the barbecue stand.

We were drinking and laughing for almost an hour now when the wolves... I mean the wives came back.

Chaeng and Irene looked tipsy.

Joy looked pregnant as ever. She's always pregnant, anyway.

Jennie is, well, looks always beautiful.

I was staring at her for good two minutes when Wendy wiped my mouth, "Easy, Manoban."

I stopped gazing at her and these assholes are laughing.

The girls approached us and kissed their respective partners.

Annnd Jennie and I are again in an awkward position again.

To ease that I asked her.

"Hey. How's shopping?" I smiled.

"Fun." Jennie showed her gummy smile.

My smile fades, I furrowed my brows. Jennie do that specific smile when she did something naughty and/or something unspeakable.

She's hiding something.

"Then why those two looked tipsy?" I eyed Irene and Chaeng.

"Wine over dinner," Still in her gummy smile.

I looked at them back and forth. Something is off.

Irene caught me looking at the girls suspiciously and she starts to walk in my direction and hug me.

"Stop asking questions or I'll start to dig in this ground that's same as your height," She whispered in my ear.

I'm 6 feet. I gulped.

I zipped my mouth before she digs my grave in Wendy's backyard.

Irene let go of me and tapped my shoulders.

The girls joined us in our drinking session. They convinced Jennie to sleep over in Chu's house.

"Why don't we play a game? Sorry babe, your bachelor's party is too boring." Chaeng said and the pack of wolves including the newly recruit laughed.

"You shopped and dine. That's the boring one." Chu answered.

"Yeah, sure. Cmon let's start." Irene the leader of the pack.

"What about Never Have I Ever? You know the rules. If you did. Shot. Ready?"
