Let's Talk

Troy POV I got closer to my mate. I finally had her in my life, in my arms! I just turned 25 years old last month. I was wondering when the goddess would bring me my mate since 18 years old.I kept telling myself that the longer I had to wait, the more amazing my mate would be. My parents' marriage was the image I had envisioned for myself. Loyal, faithful and in love. I finally had my mate! I had her against the wall of the hallway. I grabbed her cheek. I leaned in to kiss her and saw she was waiting for this moment as well. All of a sudden she pulled back. "NO! I'M NOT YOUR MATE!" Hearing those words stabbed like a dagger. I saw my beta, gamma and Willa stare in shock. I had forget they were even here. I was so caught up with Allison next to me. "I'm so sorry, Alpha Troy. I didn't mean to yell. Please accept my apologies." I tried to pull myself together after she said that. GRAB OUR MATE AND TALK SENSE INTO HER. Blaze was feeling confused and upset after hearing Allison say she wasn't our mate as well. Willa broke me out my thoughts. "Alpha Troy, nice to see you. Let's forget the pleasantries and talk about business, yes?" Willa grabbed Allison by the arm and walked into my office. I followed and so did my guys. I sat at my desk and tried to compose myself. I couldn't talk any business until I talked to Allison alone. I asked everyone to leave for a minute. Once the door was closed I could have privacy. She was gorgeous. She had her hair up, some pieces of hair to the side of her face. Her green eyes called me to take her in my arms again but I fought the strong urge. Her white tank top held her breasts so nicely. Her jeans hugged her in all the right places. It was hard to keep Blaze back. My Luna was delicious! But I needed to talk to her so I pushed all dirty thoughts aside. "Why did you push me away? I am your mate Allison. I know you feel that too." I had to go about this cautiously. I know she was going through enough. I'm sure romance wasn't on top of her to-do list. "Alpha Troy. I do indeed feel it. I, just..." She started stumbling. I didn't want her to feel rushed to give me an answer right away. I wanted her to know she could take all the time she needed to heal. "Call me Troy. I understand that you're going through a lot. I will offer whatever it is you need to help with in this difficult time. I know my love may not help everything, but my actions will try their best." I hope she really understood me. She just nodded. I would have to be careful around her. I don't want her to make any rash decisions concerning us. "I hope you give me time to show my love and devotion to you Allison." I smiled but I didn't get much in return. I'll save the conversation for after dinner. I called the group back in to see what the matter was at hand.
