Alpha Troy POV

I was sitting at my desk trying not to fall asleep from all this pack paperwork. Things have been hectic since Dark Wood had been attacked. It came out of nowhere. I only wish I knew this would have taken place. Maybe, I would've been able to... The phone rang, "Yes?" annoyed and wanted the day over with. "Alpha, security location 1 here. There is an Allison Hart at checkpoint, she says she's-" My jaw dropped. "Let her on the grounds with whomever she's with."

I had called Hunter to see if Silver Moon could offer anything to him or his sister during these rough times. Hunter had updated me that his sister had left the pack and didn't know when or if she would return. I felt horrible for the whole pack. I needed to check on her, make sure she was fine. I didn't know her but you don't need to know anyone who's going through a heartbreak like this to offer condolences. Or whatever they needed.

I had to call my beta to find her and escort her. "Alpha! What's going on? it's half time. You coming by to cheer us on?" I heard him laughing. He knew I was supposed to be playing but, priorities. "Grab Zander. I'm afraid I'm going to have to cut you guys out the game bro. I need you to escort Allison Hart up to my office."

"Daughter of the late Alpha Hart? Of Dark Wood?" I heard him be serious. "Yeah, man. Nobody's heard from her. I want to make sure she is fine and well." I told him.

"No problem, I'll grab Zander and we'll bring her up to you soon!" I hung up. I stood up and stretched. I've been doing nothing but paperwork to send to the elders concerning Midnight pack. Many of the pack alphas wanted them to be disbanded.

I looked in the mirror to try to freshen up. Before I could even look into the mirror Blaze howled and went mad.

MATE

What are you talking about? The next thing I know the scent of cherry blossoms had taken over me. Sweet and fruity. I wanted to drown in the scent forever! It was getting stronger and stronger by the door.

MATE!

I opened the door and held onto my cherry blossom. "MATE!"
