Troy POV
I walked through my office into the hallway. I saw my mother coming up the stairs. This would be fun. She was always very regal, she was 45 years old, it made me feel like I was in the wrong era everything she came around. She had a gold long sleeved dress, beaded at the end of the sleeves and bottom of the dress. Her shoulder length black hair in gold headband and dark eyes added a finished royal look. "Troy, who is that?" My mother looked puzzle. "My mate. Can you walk with me and open my door? my hands are tied up at the moment." She stood there in happiness, hands on her cheek and shouted,"YOUR MATE! OH HONE-"
"Mother! Shh! Sleeping mate in my arms." I looked at her and pointed down with my eyes. "I'll explain once I lay her down." My mother nodded, 2 doors down from my office my room stood. My mother opened the door and I gently placed Allison on my four post bed. I grabbed a gray and black plush blanket from my arm chair and covered her. I hope she wouldn't be out for very long. She was very light to carry, as if she hadn't been eating well.
I stepped outside and closed the door quietly after my mother followed out. "Your mate? Darling I'm so excited for you. Why is she sleeping? Who is she? Spill the tea Troy!" My mother asked excitedly. I still had Carter, Zander and Willa waiting in the office. That was more important at the moment. I'd love to tell my mother about my beautiful mate and how she almost destroyed my office shifting in anger, but not now.
I kissed her on the forehead. "Mom, I will give you every detail I swear. I just have an important meeting to finish up." I gave her my serious face. If I didn't, she would only press and press for more information. "Fine," she grumbled,"but who is she? At least give me that." I had started walking to my office. Before I opened the office door I turned to her and said,"The daughter of the late Alpha and Luna of Dark Wood." My mother was in awe and started tearing up. "Mom, we'll talk later. Everything is fine. I love you. Please keep this between us. I only found out just about a hour ago. She's going through a lot and I don't want to overwhelm her. If she can get one of your court ladies to help her get ready for dinner I'd appreciate it. She only came with a small backpack."
My mother nodded. I could tell she felt sad for Allison as well. It seemed today was going to be interesting for sure.
