Willa POV
I wasn't sure how to handle the situation with the Dark Wood alpha's daughter in my cabin. I thought about running but I needed to stay another night before going to Silver Moon pack. I had to warn Alpha Troy of a war I saw in the future that would potentially cost him his life.
I knew Allison was going through enough. I remember when my father died. It was a hard time in my life. The rumors of Allison abandoning her pack started to spread. They ranged from mild to crazy. Some said the pain was too much and she lost her sanity. Some said she was out for revenge and attacked women and cubs at night.
I decided to go inside amidst the crazy rumors. Allison's scent was that of a cherry. Strongly sweet and fruity. Lovely.
"I hope she gets away with whatever she did to Midnight. They deserve every bit of darkness in their lives." Talking out loud to herself.
"I will." I told her. I caught her off guard. Not my intention but my emotions got the best of me hearing her.
"I'm sorry!" She said. "Am I breaking and entering? I'm so sorry!" she apologized.
I got her to stay. The girl looked so thin, if she wanted to go she should at least eat something. I encouraged it by offering to make a salad.
We ate in silence. I could tell she wanted to know more about why I was wanted. "I cursed him." I said as I took a bite. Her eyes in shocked. Still no questions. "The new Alpha of Midnight pack. I cursed him so he could never have a heir. Seeing as they're a pack of monsters I didn't think they deserved to breed a new alpha."
Maybe I gave out too much information. But it wasn't like it was a secret. There's a poster out for my arrest for a large sum. I was flattered. As much as I didn't know Allison though, I didn't want her to think I was a monster. "It was revenge for the pack killing my father."
"Yours as well? I'm sorry Willa. I'm sorry. I'm just processing all the information you just told me. How did the Alpha know you cursed him?" She grabbed her plate and washed it and sat back down, wanting to know more. "I told him. That was after the fact he drank my potion mixed with his whiskey. It wasn't until it was finished that he looked at me closely and noticed I was the daughter of a slain wizard."
"Do you mind if I ask why he was killed?" Her eyes were swelling, sympathizing with me. "He refused to go in on the plan to use magic in war. The war against your pack. That's how I knew you were Alpha Daniel's daughter before I read the newspaper too. Details of your family were given out. We were told you were nothing too worry about because you didn't have a wolf yet. Before my father had a chance to warn your pack he was killed. I went into hiding."
"What about your mother?" she asked. "She passed away when I was little. It was just me and my father. But anyways now I'm hiding. I have to go to Silver Moon pack tomorrow to warn the alpha of a possible attack." She nodded. She seemed overwhelmed with everything I was telling her and I decided to end the conversation there.
It was getting late. I was getting tired and had a busy day ahead of me tomorrow. "Allison, by the way, I found this cabin abandoned as well. I'm not sure what your purpose is after leaving your pack, but you can have it when I leave. I'm going to go to sleep. I'll try not to wake up when I go."
"Oh, wow thanks. I'm going to stay up a bit longer. I need to get some fresh air. Goodnight!" She smiled and walked outside.
