A Message from His Mother
Damien heard screams outside his window. There seemed to be a commotion downstairs. He looked down and saw a crowd of people surrounding something. Was that blood?
Damien burst out of his room, wanting to go downstairs to investigate. However, his father’s men stopped him. That was when he noticed something. Caitlyn wasn’t in the apartment.
“Where’s my mom?” Damien asked one of the men.
The man looked around the living room and then went to check one of the other rooms. When he saw no sign of Caitlyn, he picked up his walkie-talkie to notify the boss.
That was when Damien noticed that the patio door was open, and a cool breeze was wafting inside.
