Screaming children ran around blissfully on the perfect, recently mown lawn and a young baseball team was training on one of the park’s three equipped fields.
The arrival of the enormous alien vehicle inevitably attracted the attention of all the passers-by who, with upturned faces, stood as if paralysed until the landing procedure had been completed. Only when the engines had been turned off and the last speck of dust raised had settled on the ground again, the more daring began gingerly to approach the unusual object that had suddenly fallen into their midst.
