As we huddled behind the trees, I could feel the tension building. The creatures were circling, their growls echoing through the night, and I knew we had to act quickly. “Okay, on three,” I whispered, glancing at each of my friends. “One… two… three!” With that, we burst from our hiding spot, charging toward the nearest group of creatures. I swung my sword with all my might, aiming for the one in front. It roared and stumbled back, giving me just enough time to reposition myself. “Keep moving!” Shane yelled, and I could see him engaging two creatures at once, his movements precise and powerful.
