first day of school

Mr Lawrence's class was boring as always, everyone was silently waiting for lunch break and when it was time they all rushed out.

I took my time to gather my books and went looking for Mina but met Austin on my way. Hey girl he said putting his hand on my shoulder and he then picked up my bag from me, he was now carrying it as we walked to the dinner hall.

You look like s**t Ella what happened? "I couldn't tell him what happened to me so i picked the oldest trick from the book".

Well you see what happened was i fell down the stairs at home i forced my self to smile as i lied. But he wasn't buying it, are you sure Ella?? Did someone hurt you?? He asked again, Ella was already used to this her friends were so protective of her. And she is really grateful for it, they make her feel safe and loved and here in school is where she is her happiest.

Seriously its no one, they continued to argue until they got to their usual spot were Mina, Gideon and Kelvin were already seated. What happened to your face was the first thing Gideon said his face filled with anger, don't tell me Kristen did that to you. Ella opened her mouth and attempted to lie but Mina quickly explained what happened that morning.

Damn that b***h what makes her feel she can do whatever she wants just cause her daddy is Alpha. Gideon felt like hitting someone, he could feel his wolf trying to break free and he was trying his best to control it or his wolf will gain control. Speaking about the devil and here she comes Mina motioned to the door as Kristen and her minions walked in like she owned the place.

She sat at her regular spot, boys were glaring at them since they were the hottest and most popular girls in school. They seemed to enjoy the attention they keep getting Mina stated bitterly. I think it makes them feel important Kelly added almost making me roll my eyes.

They returned to their normal conversation about their holiday, they each told stories of how their holiday went Ella didn't travel she spent most of her time doing chores so she really didn't have anything much to say.

The dinner hall suddenly grew quite as Chris and his friends walked in, the girls were busy giggling and waving, Lauretta called them over to come sit with her but Chris totally turned and walked over to an empty table ignoring her completely.

He wasn't eating unlike his friends, he was just sitting looking through he crowd as if he was searching for something or someone. Then his eyes landed on Ella his expression wasn't an happy one seeing how she was surrounded with guys his mood changed, he suddenly got up and left his friends followed, Ella didn't even notice what happened she was still busy with her friends.

Kelvin brought out a bag and handed it to Ella i got you this during the holidays, Ella was really happy she was about to open it when Austin stopped her and brought out his own gift bag, i also got you something during the holidays.

Why don't you open it together, am totally dying to see your facial expression.

Ella was really surprised when she opened the gift bags, one was filled with school supplies while the other one had a few clothes and a few pair of shoes in it. Guys you really didn't have to she said with teary eyes. Of course we do dummy Kelly said if we don't who will Kelvin and Austin said in unison, Ella managed to hide her laugh and then Gideon and Mina brought out a bag and handed it to Ella.

Her eyes grew big as she saw what was inside. Well Gideon said scratching the back of his head, i didn't know what to get you so Mina and i decided to add funds and she went shopping for you.

Ella gave him a surprised hug Gideon was surprised he wasn't expecting it, Austin and Kelvin started whining about not getting a hug after Ella received their gifts so she hugged them each and thanked Mina for the gift. The third bag had brand new panties, a few bras, two mini bag and a little makeup. They must have spent a lot Ella thought to herself.

Lunch break was over soon and they all went to their class, Mina, Kelvin and Austin were in a different class they are a year below us. Gideon and i are both in our last year in high school but separate class.

Ella was in her own world day dreaming about turning 17 and finally getting her wolf so she can leave this awful place and go find her siblings, she hoped to get a very strong wolf since she had alpha blood in her so she believed she would have a very strong wolf. She was thinking of how she would teach Kristen a lesson before leaving. She couldn't wait she would drag her with her hair and tear her to pieces this thought alone gave her pleasure. She was smiling and didn't realise when the teacher Mr Carlos called her name and was brought back to reality when he was already standing in front of her.

Well it seems like my class is boring you miss Ella or should i say Cinderella? Everyone laughed the nickname started with Kristen when they were little but it has stuck and everyone calls her that now.

Since you find my class boring care to share with the class what you were day dreaming about? Ella just lowered her head and didn't say anything. Of course she wouldn't dare say she was dreaming about running away she could be killed if she dare say such a thing..

Am guessing she was day dreaming about finding her mate who would love her and save her, you know she is a Cinderella so she is definitely looking forward to a prince charming. Kristen said with mockery evidence in her voice. The whole class erupted in laughter Chris was the only one that wasn't laughing but he had a grin plastered on his face. Even the teacher was laughing hard. Making her a laughing stock or bullying her wasn't new to her, she has gotten used to it over the years.

Ella wasn't easily shaken though after all she had alpha blood in her. She didn't say anything, she just waited for the class to quite down then she lowered her head and apologized to Mr Carlos. Am sorry sir it won't happen again. It better not he said coldly and walked away.

The remaining part of the day went by and soon school was over. Ella waited for Mina at their usual spot, under the mango tree at their school entrance. They both walked home in silence while Mina helped Ella to carry one of the gift bag she was given earlier.

She got back home and hurried to the kitchen to make dinner after dropping her bag, she didn't even bother to change, she doesn't want the Alpha or Luna to be angry at her the last thing she needed was being punished. She quickly made dinner and hurriedly took some to her room. She ate had her bath did her home work and decided to go for a stroll. She wore a pink hoodie that Gideon got her last winter and a grey sweat pant. When she was sure no one was looking she dashed into the woods running.
