The apothecary’s daughter smiled. “I’ll write out four cooking recipes for you and the one for boneset.” She interrupted her husband when he tried to say he could write out the cooking recipes. “You stay here and show them how to use the station. I won’t be long.” She hurried inside, her husband staying with them to show Danae how the compact alchemist’s station worked, answering Brodie’s many questions about it.
