Valerian woke up with a start,his heart beating erratically. It was all a dream. He exhaled and let his head drop back to his pillow.
He wanted to be relaxed,wanted to be calm but yet he couldn't find it in himself to be calm. He pushed aside his duvet and checked the digital clock on his bed side and sighed. 2:30am.
Valerian had the sudden urge to run straight to Apryl and hold her tight against his chest and never let her go. But he couldn't and he knew it. She was going to hit his chest and tell him to stay away from her and he couldn't bear to hear her reject him like that again. He was turning soft and it took everything out of him to not go to Apryl and crawl on his knees begging her to come back.
