Jenna sat down, trying to compose herself. Ryan reluctantly sat down beside her, his eyes fixed on the floor.

Dr. Walter smiled warmly at them. "I understand that you're both here to work on some issues in your marriage. Can you tell me a little bit about what's been going on?"

Jenna hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But something about Dr. Walter's kind and non-judgmental demeanor put her at ease. She took a deep breath and began to tell him about the problems in their marriage.

As the door slammed shut, Jenna let out a sigh of relief. Cody immediately went to her side, concern etched on his face.

"Jenna, are you okay?" Cody asked gently, his voice a stark contrast to Ryan's angry outburst.

Jenna nodded, still looking shaken. "Y-yes, I'm fine. Just a bit scared."
