34 “You!” the tiny Hawaiian woman growls at me, while jabbing a short, brown finger into my belly. The top of her head barely reaches my chest, yet somehow I feel intimidated. “You hurt my sweet Kai.” Her words leave no doubt that she is Kai’s Nana Lana. Seeing her glaring eyes peer up at me, I wonder if there might be some truth to Baggy’s assessment that the woman is crazy. Her next venomous words leave little doubt. “You hurt my sweet boy.
