THE CONSIGLIERE

INTRODUCTION

"Bonsoir! Buonasera! Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I am Czarina Xena Lucania, granddaughter of Lucio Lucania. And currently the head of the legal teams of Lucania Group of Companies." I introduced myself in front of the VIPs who are gathered here by my grandfather. They were well known family in every part of the world. Politicians, businessmen, actresses, actors and well known people are here as my grandfather announces that he will retire for good. That his remaining son will be the one to take over everything that he have.

He also made an announcement that I will take part in our business as the head of the legal team and my brother as the vice chairman. His announcement surprised the world. Most especially those family that is involved in mafia. They never expected that my grandfather who is still not that old left the company to his youngest and only son who is not capable yet to handle the family. Also the head of the legal team is only 22 years old and a female who look so weak. I can see disappointment and disbelief in their eyes, especially in the eyes of those who belong to Mafia. They think that the new consigliere is a weak girl.

"I guess you are all quite surprise to know that a mere 22 year old girl who you think just finished her studies in law cannot do good in handling such a well-known company. But I assure you our business will be in good hands. And let me give you a piece of knowledge that Elizabeth I of England once said, Though the s*x to which I belong is considered weak you will nevertheless find me a rock that bends to no wind." I sweetly said to them. I know that in their eyes they will see only what they want to see, hear what they wanna hear but they will never listen to who they feel weaker than them. My left eyebrow raise on its own when they started clapping. "Thank you for your consideration." I sarcastically said as I give them a very sweet smile.

Starting this day, I will make them see what this woman can do. I will make sure that they will regret looking down on me. And I will never bow down to those filthy people who only thinks of their money and power. I will be the woman that will make them tremble in fear.
