Chapter 13

June was starting to not like Amelia, maybe because Amelia was starting to show her true colours towards us. Always ditch her shift on us, drinking at work, and then partying at work. I don't care but whatever she's going through she needs to leave it at home like the rest of us, don't you think we would rather drink away the problems rather than being silent about it.

'June' I said as I went outside where her and Samuel were.

'Hey What is it' she asked.

'Just need girl talk' I said.

'Well I should go' Samuel said as he leaves.

'Talk away'she said.

'Actually I lied, I need a some form of fun' I said.

'Okay so what are you thinking' she said.

'Girls night' she said as her eyes shook up.

'Oh my god yes I need that' she said.

'But' I said.

'But What' she said.

'Who's going to cover for us' I said.

'Samuel and Amelia' She said.

'No we can't ask them, especially samuel' I said.

'I got ann idea' I said.

'Okay What is it' she asked but I walk into the bar and went to his office.

'John' I asked.

I was facing his back, he looked like he was wrap something up. He turns out and he's fist is bleeding.

'What happened' I asked.

'What is it that you need' he said as he wraps up his fist as the bleeding stopped.

'Can me and June take tomorrow off' I asked him as he takes a seat as he was directly facing me as I awkwardly stood here.

'Enlighten me' he said.

'She's helping me clean up the house before my parents get back' I lied as he shakes his head, I can tell he didn't believe me.

'You do realise this means extra shifts right'he said.

'I'm aware' I said as he goes back to his work and I excuse my self.

'So' she said waiting at the door.

'He said yes' I said as we both hug.

'Hey Cathy' a familiar voice interpreted us.

I turn around to find it's Chelsea.

'What are you doing here' I asked.

'I'm your best friend' she said.

'Oh I wasn't aware, because I remember you picking her side and I remember seeing you hanging out with her at college, or was I just seeing things' I said as June leaves us and goes back to work.

'Cathy can we go outside and talk' she said as I look around. Few people were looking at us strangely, so we stepped outside.

'I was by her side because I found she had an aportion last year and didn't tell us' she said.

Of curse I was mad at them, but I'm angry she never told me this, she never tells me anything. It's like she's afraid I'm going to judge her.

'Well you two seem to be a great ideal best friends for each other' I said.

'Come on Cathy' she said as she puts her hand on my arm.

'Just leave me alone okay, I don't need friends' I said as I go back inside.

'But June is an exactions' she said catching up to me.

'Yes' I said.

'Wow Cathy, you really changed' she said.

'I changed? No chels im just tired of people continuously lying to my face and thinking it's what best for me, so you don't might get out' I said as she looks shocked and blank.

She shakes her head and leaves.

'They are your best friends' Samuel said as Him and June gave me this sad look.

'Not anymore' I said as I go behind the bar.

'They are good friends don't lose them' June said.

'They are, that's why they are better off without me' I said.

'Why' I said.

'It doesn't matter, just drop it Okay' I said.

'Okay don't get angry, we need to be friends ' June says as she makes me laugh.

'Good keep in mind' I said as she hits my arm.

Later when everyone went, I smstayed back waiting for John.

'What are you still doing here' he asked.

'You get her pregnant and never contact her' I said.

'That baby isn't mine' he said.

'You don't know that, you can't just say that and expect it to be true john' I said as he goes behind the bar and gets himself a drink.

'Yes I can and I did' he said heading for the door.

'No tour not leaving john' I said standing in front of him, blocking the door.

'Catherine' he said, the way he said my name sounded different compared to when others say it.

'Just go see her please' I said.

'There is my card,and the details' he said pulling his wallet out.

'Why are you giving me this' I asked.

'Take her to an abortion clinic' he said as I slap him.

'If that baby is yours, it's better with out' I said as I leave.

Waiting at the bus stop, there say that guy again.

'Are you following me' I asked as he laughs.

'That's the question I should be asking you' he said.

'I'm not a stalker, I don't have the energy for it' I said as we both laugh.

'Can I have that drink now' I said as he seemed surpiaed.

'Sure where you wanna go' he asked.

'Yours' I answered.

He ordered us a Uber, and after 30 minutes we got to his place.

'Wow you live here' I asked.

'Yeah' he said.

'It's beautiful' I said as we walk in.

'What are you having' he asked as I follow him to the kitchen.

I walk over to him and place our lips together.

One thing lead to another.
