Chapter 6

I'm happy lucy told my advice and stopped drinking, it's been three months. Isbelle and Greg are still together but I don't trust him and she doesn't care. So I stopped trying, all I care about is my grades, and defining on a university.

Today I have two interviews for a little cafe, and this assistant job.

I love cafe places, it's a place to go if you want be alone and do the two things you love; coffee, books, or use your laptop.

My first interview is in 30 minutes but me being me I came 30 minutes early. They asked me to stay out here until my interview time.

I just go over my CV and my notebooks preparing, I'm so scared, it's not my first job but I didn't have a lot of jobs but I did have few experience with reception, assistant but I always wanted to work in a little cafe place.

My sister came with me since I still don't have a car, she wait until both my interviews were done. I did good but I felt like I wasn't gonna get it but I give it my best.

'Let's go and get a drink' Jenny said.

'Where' I asked her.

'Ace of clubs' she said as I shake my head.

'No I mean it no' I said.

'Come in its 7, I want let loose, so let's go home and get dressed and get a taxi so I don't have to drive tonight come on it's been a while since me and you had fun' she said she was so good at this making me feel guilty.

But I didn't see John in 3 months and I didn't tell anyone what I say or heard, honestly I don't want anything to do with him.

'Fine' I said.

I can't believe I agreed to this.

'It's a good thing Mom and dad aren't here' she said as she looks excited.

I'm happy I'm getting quality time with my sister who I actually like and not the other evil.

'Can we invite isbelle and Lucy' she said.

'I don't care honestly' I said.

We finally get home, Lucy wasn't home so it seemed she wasn't coming with us. Jenny tried to call her multiple times but no answers, she then moved into isbelle who did pick up and said she was down for it.

I was looking forward to a girls night honestly.

She gives me this dress, gold and silver plunge V neck backless body on and she wore blackless halter neck plunged dress.

She did my makeup, I go over to the mirrror as she did her makeup, then left to open the door from isbelle.

I looked different like completely different.

I liked it, for once I'm being someone different and forgetting about my problems.

My thoughts disappeared by isbelle a screaming.

'Oh my god, you look so hot' she said with her hands on her mouth, she looked hot so she always had better figure, she wore this side lace up body con mini dress.

'Look who's talking, you look hot girl' I said as I pull her to look at her self in mirror, as she shakes her body as she playfully plays with her hair and her leg lifts up a little.

'Jenny girl are you trying to get all the guys from us' she said as Jenny laughs and we all laugh.

'Stop girls lets go, the taxi is here,  bring your jackets don't forget your phones and bags' she said.

'Let's partyyyy' isbelle screamed once again.

'Can we go to any club please' I said as I felt like my heart was gonna die on me.

'Are you scared to see John is that it' isbelle said looking at me, with the biggest smile.

'I just don't want ever see him' I said.

'Honestly just let it go whatever he ddI, he moved on he has a girlfriend now' she said and for some reason I was hurt by what she said.

'It's not that, I don't even like the guy isbelle' I said.

We finally got here, Jenny pays the guy and we get out of the car, as we're walking in, isbelle stops me.

'Whatever he did, he's not a bad guy' she said.

'Guys' Jenny said as we catch up with her.

That's when I noticed a lot of people were looking at us, like a lot.

'I feel uncomfortable' I said.

'Me goo' isbelle said, we take a seat at the bar and order drinks.

'Hey kadies' a guy says with his other two friends, one had his eye on me, he had a blue eyes, and wore a suit, and the other one had eyes on isbelle but she told him she had a boyfriend so he left, and the other who spoke had eyes on Jenny and Jenny was enjoy it, they flirt the long time.

But I told the guy I had a boyfriend when really it was lie to get him to leave me alone.

'No guy can turn away from you, I don't blame him for trying' a guy same with a weird accent.

'Your accent' I said as I turn to him, isbelle had already called Greg so he was here before us so she went to him.

'Scotland' he said with cutesy smile.

'What brings you to american' I asked curious.

'Business' he said.

'Not pressure'I said as he laughs as I laugh along with him.

'No your funny' he said. He adds 'can I buy you a drink my lady'

'Yes you can my sir' he said as we both laugh.

We talked he whole night, even exchanged numbers, I liked him he was hot, with hot accent and funny.

completely forgot about John, well until now.

He had to leave, work. He's name was Lucas, mix race, and works st a law firm.

'Hey Cathy' a familiar voice spoke.

I turn my direction to the sound to find Samuel.

'Hey' I said with the biggest smile on my face.

'How are you' he asked.

'I'm okay you, how's life' I asked.

'Same, here or st college' he said. He adds' you'

'College, and looking for a job' I said.

'Hey this place is hiring it's weird huh' he said.

'Yeah it is, but I can't work for john' I said.

'Come on, you will be with me most of the time' I said as he gives me this face, puppy face.

'Your an evil man, I will see what I can do' I said.

'Well he's in his office if you want see what you can do' he said as he laughs and walks away.

I did, really need a work.

'Cover for me, I will talk to him and see if he's interested' he came back and let's me in behind the bar.

I know how to make few drinks but not everything.

He was gone a while.

'Can I have two vodka, and one s*x one the beach' a guy order.

'Vodka shots ' I asked him.

'Yes' he said.

I started with the s*x on the beach, as it take longer, then get small cups and pouring his vodka.

After I give him he's order, and took the money, I looked around for Samuel to only realise him and John we're watching me the whole time, I quickly turn around.

Oh god, calm down, breath Catherine, just breath.

Samuel figures appears next to me as I was looking down.

'He wants to talk to you in his office' he said as I leave the bar area and go through the door and then the stairs then a door but before opening it I calm down and get my s**t together.

I knock.

'Come in' he said.

I walk in as I sit on the chair to his left.

'So Samuel says you need w job' he said.

'Yeah but don't give it to me because you feel sorry for me or anything' I said as he looks up from writing on these documents to look at me.

'Right, you got the job if you want it, I saw how you handle your self out there' he said.

'Thank you, can I think about it' I asked.

'Two days' he said as I get up and begin to walk away.

I close his open behind me, and head downstairs and then through another door, then I go to find Samuel and tell me what John told me, he was so happy, but I'm so unsure if I want to work for John.

I took four vodka shots as I was to take up on what I said earlier about forgetting my problems.

Now that I'm drunk but not too drunk I start to move to the dance floor and dance.

This cute guy and I dance, then I turn my back on his and we dance, the song was so good, I felt all my problems fading away.

'Your beautiful' he whisper, it didn't give me the same feeling as it does when John does it.

Oh god stop thinking about him, he doesn't even care.

I turn my body around, now me and him are facing each other. I place both my hand on his shoulder as I shake my body as I go down and up, that's when I notice johns office door open, and he comes out. He's eyes lay in me, but I look away.

Then I close the gap between me and the guy, now we were like hugging as we swig left and right.

Then john and I make eye contact.

He had a drink in his hand as he's back was against the bar area.

That's the three drink I saw he take, he seem pissed.

That's when our eye contact breaks as he leaves the place and goes to his office with a girl.

The rest of the night was fun, we didn't go home with no guy, we got taxi back home.
