Kai shrieked in pain, rolling on the floor. Whatever was happening, was starting with the baby. “Sarai,” she whimpered, “please keep the baby safe. Please watch it.” The silence of her counterpart was like an agreement. She could feel movement inside where she imagined the baby was, but it was rapid and felt like something was tearing apart.
Cal kept one eye on Samael, and the other on Kai in the corner of his eye.
Kai let out another scream in agony.
Cal glared at Samael, his eyes shifted back to those impressive ones he just started to feel. Looking at Samael, he listened to Tyr inside of him. Use them. That was all he needed to know, as Tyr came forward in him, what felt like they were sharing a consciousness.
Cal was able to pin Samael. It felt like he was barel
