Iman woke up early, prayed her obligatory prayers, prepared breakfast, and as soon as they had breakfast, her father left for work, so she prepared lunch and arranged the house. As for Amal, she was taking a shower and preparing for the wedding that she had planned for that night. Naturally, Iman would not accompany her, and they would leave her alone at home. Time passed quickly, and when Salma returned from school; She and her mother got ready and went to the wedding, which was in a far away area. Iman was left alone in the house, and while she was combing her hair absentmindedly, she felt something pulling her hair from behind, and he planted a kiss on her neck. She jumped and was shocked when she saw her father standing with his veil lifted. Abdel Rahman: What happened to you? Did you see a genie or what? Iman swallowed her saliva and said: Father, this is you. Abdul Rahman: Yes, I am.. Were you waiting for someone else, and why are you wearing your hair here? Glory be to God, who gave you beauty and poetry without any benefit. If you had been a little more decorated, someone might have looked at you, even if he was a homeless person, and accepted your flaws. Iman remained silent as usual, wondering how to answer him when she did not know what to say. After that rude move he made, she no longer knew how to act, and her shock at the person who should be her support in life was still affecting her. Abdul Rahman: Go and bring me food instead of forbidding this beauty of yours, and you did not let me enjoy it or even relieve me of it. Iman swallowed her saliva and quickly went to the kitchen, still in shock because of her father's bad personality. She quickly gathered her hair, wore her hijab, and put food for her father. Then she hurried to her room, closed the door behind her with the key, and sat on the floor, crying hard. A girl in the prime of her youth was subjected to beatings and harsh treatment from her brother and her father, who took his toll on her, and now her condition worsened when he harassed her. For a moment, she thought if her mother had been with her, would she have been exposed to all of this, only to remember that she did not know her mother’s identity in the first place. That night passed, which was full of tears and fear for Iman. Fear got the better of her and made her stay in her room to escape from her father until he left for work in the morning. Thus, a month passed during which Iman hid in her room whenever Amal left the house, especially after the issue developed and her father no longer concealed his contemptuous looks at her and his constant contemplation of her body after he had not been looking at her. This month, Doaa was trying hard to repair her relationship with Nasr al-Din, and she resorted to all the methods she learned to achieve what she wanted. Nasr al-Din saw that she was truly regretful, and left the reins to his heart again. Especially when he watched Siham's friends treat Siham, and every time he put Doaa in her place, Doaa would increase his remorse one day; He was sitting in the garden near their house, and Doaa sat next to him when she saw him. Doaa: How are you? Nasr al-Din: Fine, thank God. Duaa: It seems that you don't want to talk to me at all. Nasr al-Din: No, I just don't have the energy to talk, and I just want to sit in a quiet place. Doaa: My mother was right, you don't love me anymore. Nasr al-Din looked at her with astonishment, saying: What made her say this about me? Doaa: Perhaps your actions and words, but the truth is that they are right. You no longer love me, and even my friends noticed this. They told me that one day will come and Nasr al-Din will abandon you, and basically everyone abandons me after I get used to him. You are all the same. Nasr al-Din: Doaa: Are you aware of what you said or not? Doaa's tears fell, saying: I am telling you the truth that I did not want to accept for a long time. Everyone I knew left me in the middle of the road and left, and now it is your turn to abandon me, but I will summarize all of this for you, and I will tell you to stay away if you want, and do not ignore me and hurt me. This way, I will also stay away from you. Doaa stood up to leave, but Nasr al-Din’s hand prevented her when he grabbed her hand and turned her towards him, saying: “Maybe I forgot who Nasr al-Din is. In my life, I have never broken a promise I made, and when I proposed to you from your parents, I promised your father that I would protect you, and I would not abandon you no matter what, unless One thing, which is to keep you away from me, and my being away from you during this period was for an important purpose, and my goal is for you to feel my father’s feelings when I am away from him, and how much he suffers alone at home. I will stay with you and will never abandon you, and my love for you will remain constant and nothing like this will change it. Since that day, their relationship began to gradually return to normal. Wedding preparations were taking up most of their time, and the date of realizing their dream was approaching. In a week, the wedding would take place, but the marriage contract was decided after two days. At Iman, who woke up early and prepared breakfast as Amal requested, as she prepared the most delicious meals because her son would be released from prison. That idea planted terror in Iman’s heart. She kept preparing the food while trembling. She did not feel her father entering the kitchen. As soon as he touched her on the waist, she jumped away from him, and she had a cup in her hand that fell to the ground. Abdul Rahman raised his eyebrows and said sharply: What's wrong with you, girl? Did you buy this cup with your own money so that you could break it? Abdel Rahman said that to cover up his actions when Amal entered and also said: What is happening here, who broke this cup? Abdul Rahman: This i***t is the one who broke it. I don’t know if I was disabled only in her leg or even in her hand. Iman closed her eyes tightly, trying to encourage herself to speak, but her fear overcame her every time, and she remained silent, watching them, enjoying their sharp words every time. Amal: This girl breaks something every day. It seems that her hand wants to be burned so that she will be careful next time. Abdul Rahman: What a bad morning, I no longer want any breakfast. I will come out better. Abd al-Rahman left the house, and as soon as Amal heard the sound of the door locking, she grabbed Iman’s hair, pulling him. Her hijab was torn off, and then she said: I swear to God, you animal, if I find you one day breaking something else, I will burn your hands that you flaunt. Iman: I will not repeat this again, just please let my hair down. Amal left her after a sharp look, then went to prepare her son's room. As for Iman, she finished her cooking with tears flowing from her eyes like waterfalls. As soon as she finished breakfast, she placed it on the table, and Amal and Salma sat down to breakfast, while she returned to the kitchen to continue her work after she lost her appetite after what happened. Hours passed and Iman had finished everything, and arranged the food on the table, and the smell of cleanliness and perfumes was pervading the room, until they heard the sound of a knock on the door, so Salma opened it and then said in a voice that reached Iman’s ears: “My brother.” Murad hugged her and said: Did you miss me? Salma: I miss you so much, brother. Murad smiled at her, and they entered with his father behind them, whose features were sharp as usual. As soon as she saw her son’s hope, she ran towards him to embrace him, and she continued to kiss him while she was extremely happy after his return. Amal: You have been gone for so long, my son, that I have missed you. What made you think of selling that poison? Murad: I am with you now, mother. Forget what happened.
