The morning air was cool, and I pulled my cloak around my body. As we continued walking through the thick forest, I wished I could shift and enjoy the warmth of Sera's fur, but the trees were growing too close together to shift. My only amusement in the chill of the morning was seeing Spencer and Tolen trying to fit through the smaller gaps.
''Not so fun being an Alpha today, is it?'' I linked Spencer as he nearly tripped moving through two trees.
''Shut up.'' He shot back, in amusement, despite his current serious predicament.
''Maybe you should stop eating enough for five men, and you'd be able to fit.'' I said back, teasing him.
''Keep it up, and you'll be the only thing I no longer eat.''
I blushed bright red, and looked away.
