I stood beside Greyson, as we walked into the massive council room, where everyone was seated. He led us down a long path, in between two long tables on either side, and another long one at the end on a raised platform.
My heart raced. This was my first council meeting in the pack, and I was beyond nervous. I felt the eyes of the council members on me, curiously. They were the men and women who helped govern the kingdom. I had to make a good impression.
As we approached the platform, I took a deep calming breath, and Greyson squeezed my hand, reassuring me. ''They're not too scary,'' He linked me, ''Just follow my lead.''
