Kenna Mary Collier sat naked in her bedroom in front of her mirror. She was examining an ugly red and purple bruise in the partial shape of a pistol on the inside of her left breast. "If it hadn"t been for my pistol I wouldn"t be sitting here," she thought. Kenna winced as her fingers explored around the bruise. “Thank God," she thought, "I got to Brenden before he talked to anyone. Now both he and Major Adams belong to me."
