Special Agent Gates sat at the table across from Colonel White, in White"s apartment. Gates said, “I have information about a woman who joined one of the trains in Missouri. She matches Collier"s description. She is using the name "Charlotte McGuiness". I think this is the same wagon train Crow and his men joined up with.”
White replied, “Crow told me he didn"t see her with the train.”
“Well, I"ve heard talk about the men who saved that train from an Indian attack. One of them was wounded and was nursed back to health by the woman named Charlotte McGuiness. Matter of fact there"s talk about the two being very friendly.”
