As I turn again, Luca stands before me, his piercing gaze locking onto mine. He’s towering over me, my eye level barely reaching past his his chest. His sudden presence makes me gasp, but I dare not step back from him. He's just inches away. I could feel his warm breath dancing across my skin, sending shivers down my spine.
