The next morning, I still had a one in ten thousand chance.
What if I can change back?
Unfortunately, nothing happened after I opened my eyes, so I still squatted in the basin with one leg on.
William saw that I was not in a high mood, so he decided to break free and take me to the park to play.
He enthusiastically took out a pink string and planned to tie it around my neck.
"I bought it specifically for the parrot to wear. I feel like it's similar in size to yours, so let's give it a try."
He held a rope and gestured around me.
I really want to strangle him with this rope!
William may have sensed my murderous intent and casually withdrew the rope.
"I'm joking."
He gently picked me up and placed it in his hand, "Let's go."
In spring, the park is filled with new green everywhere, with willow trees sprouting new shoots and winter jasmine blooming in clusters of goose yellow.
Many people bring their own children and pets to spring outings.
A beautiful hook with a small braid passed in front of us, wearing a tender pink floral dress.
I withdrew from William's hand, feeling a bit insecure.
They all come with cute little dogs, cats, and parrots, just William, with me, this ugly bullfrog with brown skin, bulging belly, and small eyes.
A little girl ran up to William and curiously looked at his hand, "Brother, what's in your hand?"
"Is it a kitten?"
William smiled and reached out to her, whispering, "Brother has the cutest thing in the world in his hand."
The little girl exclaimed in surprise and curiously leaned her head over.
William quickly spread out his hand, and I lifted my head in unison, saying, "Quack!"
"Ah! Toad!"
The little girl was startled and took three steps back, with a strong fear on her face: "What an ugly toad! Brother, you actually have a toad, how strange!"
She gave William a strange look and turned around to escape.
William sneered, "Of course, she really has no taste."
"You are clearly the cutest little frog in the world."
I was greatly affected.
I have never scared people away because of ugliness in my life.
For a moment, I was filled with sadness.
The thought that in the future, I may have to endure this ugly appearance and become a lifelong bullfrog makes my heart ache.
Even if it turns into a cat, a dog, or a mouse!
They are all stronger than bullfrogs!
In the future, when people see me, they will no longer praise my beauty and will say, "Ah ugly toad!"
I felt an uncontrollable sadness in my heart and lay on William's hand, crying loudly.
I can't even afford to speak.
William looked at me crying and was at a loss for what to do.
He panicked and touched my hind leg, with a hint of urgency on his face: "What's wrong, but is it leg pain?"
I don't want to talk to him and still howl.
"What's going on!" William scratched his ears and cheeks, feeling extremely anxious. "Let's go to the hospital?"
I wiped away my tears and sobbed, "What if, what if I can't come back in the future?"
William fell silent.
"If I were to be a bullfrog for the rest of my life, I would never be able to find a partner again!"
The more I think about it, the more uncomfortable it becomes.
The frog was in despair.
"If you can't change back in your lifetime."
William's deep voice rang out.
"I will accompany you for a lifetime."
I looked up at him in surprise and couldn't help but hiccup.
"What?"
William looked at me seriously, his beautiful eyes unblinking, so deep that they almost sucked me in.
"I said, if you can't change back in your lifetime, I will accompany you for a lifetime."
"Let's be a happy cross species couple, and when we get old, we can still make a movie about a person's frog relationship."
My tears couldn't stop flowing down my face, and my heart was boiling hot. "What are you talking about? A human frog or something is so disgusting, isn't it?"
William smiled and lightly kissed my frog head.
"I'm serious, I promise."
