She felt a little foolish the way she began laughing. The day had been a rollercoaster of emotions for her. She had already been nervous and excited to see Neo, but when the mayor arrived she felt a little let down. Then, out of nowhere, he basically said he had feelings for her. Maybe she was wrong for saying that he probably had a lot of girls, but Aliyah didn't keep herself hung up on that too long. The way he behaved after she'd denied him was shameful.
