Kate arrived at the Sunshine Villa where Michael lived. She was directed in and met Michael on the bed, bandages wrapped around his knees.
Kate felt pity and guilt. She didn’t expect a simple crawl to injure his knee like this, for someone who claimed he had fought a long battle.
All the same, Kate felt guilty. As soon as Michael saw her, he immediately sat straight.
He snapped at her, “What the hell are you doing here? Do you want your husband to finish me off and make me lose my leg?”
