Alex’s brow furrowed tighter, his tone dropping into steel.
“Cobra…what is it? What about Kate?”
On the other end, Cobra’s hesitation cracked, his voice shaking.
“Sir… it’s… it’s already streaming live on every major network. Turn on Arise News. You will see it yourself.”
Alex didn’t waste another second. He snatched the remote from the bedside table, flicked on the television, and the morning silence shattered under the blare of the broadcast.
