Out of the blue
Alex, Anthony and Fredrick decided to drive Anthony’s car to the training building. He parked his red Volvo car at the parking lot not far from the building and the three of them exited the car. They went inside and straight to their respective wings where they had the rest of their group assembled. Anthony and Fredrick were in the same group, the blue one and their wing were located in the east part of the building. “ We need to find a suitable name for our group.” Fredrick mumbled on the way to their wing. Anthony slightly turned his head with a questioning look. “What!” Fredrick asked and continued. “We can't call our group Blue group, there's no uniqueness in it.” Then he halted and looked at the wall. “Oh…. so typical! Blue group so of course our wings wall would be blue too.” Fredrick's complaining voice echoed in the hall. Anthony roamed his eyes from the ceiling and to the walls. The ceiling was white but the wall was indeed very blue. He didn't have a problem with blue, he likes blue. It reminds him of his mate's blue eyes. Out of pity for his friend, he didn't say anything. He could see the pure horror in Fredrick’s eyes.
Ethan, who heard Fredrick’s complaint, couldn't help and said, “I think I saw Matt bought us a training shirt, and if I wasn't mistaken, it was blue.” Anthony quickly turned to Ethan and saw his mischievous smile. Fredrick who was mumbling and didn't look at Ethan's face shrieked. He swore he would throw those shirts into the fireplace. Most of their comrades went out from their room to see what was happening including Brianna. Anthony looked at his sister. He had talked to her yesterday about Britney but he didn't tell her that it was her own father who ordered it. He could see the remorse in her eyes but still he doesn't fully trust her yet. Even though the King had commanded his sister not to say anything to her father, Anthony couldn't help but be cautious. Matt came in and greeted everyone. “We will have our first training outside this morning and then after lunch we can have it inside.” Matt announced. Anthony didn't see a training ground outside but he guessed it was at the back of the building. Matt led them to the back door and sure enough, a wide grassy field about thirty meters away from the building was equipped with some training equipment. Anthony calculated that the field must be ten thousand square meters wide. “ Ok everyone, we can begin with 10 laps for today, then some sparring. I need to see who needs to build up their cardio and then which one has the basic training and who doesn't.” Matt announced. They began running around the field. Most of the females were already slowing down after five rounds. Only half of them were able to finish the ten laps Matt wanted them to do. Half had collapsed into the ground at seven counts. They got half an hour rest before the sparring session. Anthony saw his sister sitting on the ground with a bottle of water in her hand. She is sweaty and pale. He walked to her and sat himself beside her. “Are you ok,” he nudged her on the shoulder. “Yeah, I think this is what I needed,” Brianna said and sighed. She turned her head and looked at him. “I am a spoiled, rude and irritating brat. I was mean to everyone, I don't even have real friends, all I have left is you.” Anthony stare his sister's quivering lip. “Please… don't give up on me.” She pleaded. Anthony put his arm on his sister's shoulder to reassure her that he won't. The thirty minute rest was up and Matt called them to spar. It was almost noon when Matt dismissed them. They were thankful that they will be at the gym after lunch, it was beginning to be hot outside to be able to do anything. Anthony went to his supposed room to take a quick shower. He took some random shirt and pants from his backpack and put it on. His eyes landed on the bed, it was a decent single bed. It wasn't in his plan to stay the night in the training building, but maybe he could acquire a room for him and Ariana on the 5th floor. It is easier for her to portal in and out to meet, in their free time. He went out to help in the kitchen. He was surprised to see his sister with Isla cutting some vegetables. It looks like they have become friends. He smiled and walked to them. “What do we have for lunch?” He asked and Isla turned to Anthony and answered. “Your sister and I will be making chicken salad,” Isla announced. “What can I do to help?” He queried
“I think we have this under control,” Isla said and smiled at Brianna. “I must contribute something,” he insisted. “If you insist brother, you can wash and cut the tomatoes and cucumber, I'll go and begin to fry the chicken.” Brianna went to the stove. Anthony’s face was indescribable, Isla who noticed it asked. “What's with that face?” “Are you sure we let her fry the chicken?” He whispered to Isla but not so low enough that Brianna couldn't hear it. “I may be spoiled but I am not stupid, I could read a recipe and follow it.” Brianna called to his brother with one hand on her hips and the other holding a spatula pointing into him. Anthony smiled, “What are you smiling about?” Brianna asked. “Did you know that you look like our mother when she scolded us when we were children?” Anthony commented. “I did?” Brianna's eyes lit up. She remembered their mother liked to bake, maybe she could try to learn how to bake. She turned around and concentrated on the chicken on the frying pan. The others came into the kitchen when the three of them were almost done preparing their lunch. Isla was sitting between Brianna and Anthony, then a girl whom Anthony couldn't remember the name sat beside him and began flirting, he groaned as well as Dean, his wolf. He quickly ate his chicken salad and excused himself. Suddenly he felt anxious, his hand clutching the chair, he could feel a surge of power on his and Ariana's bond that had been released. He stumbled after. The female who sat beside him stood up and tried to help him but he squatted her away. Brianna, who was engaged with a conversation with Isla and Ethan turned around and saw Anthony’s worried expression. She stood abruptly and moved to Anthony's side, where she noticed the female wolf name Everly from Ash Forest pack sprawled out on the floor. Isla and Ethan turned and looked at Anthony while the others were so engrossed with their flirting and teasing that they didn't even notice Anthony and Everly. “What happened? “ Brianna asked his brother but Everly screeched. “I was just trying to help him and he pushed me!” Their comrades went silent and all eyes were on them. Moments later Alex came in and called Anthony's name. His eyes landed on Anthony kneeling on the floor. “You felt it too, didn't you?” Alex asked Anthony and he nodded. “I had mindlink Uncle Maxwell but they couldn't find them at the palace. He had a search team ready, we should go,” Alex grabbed Anthony's arm. “Wait I'll go too,” Fredrick said as he stood up, no one had asked what happened or what they were talking about among the wolves who heard them. Anthony tried to mindlink Ariana but to no avail. Either she blocked their link or something happened to her. They are about to get in Anthony’s car when Brianna comes running to them. “Wait,” she called. “I could help,” she said between breaths. Alex growled. He doesn't trust Brianna after what just happened a couple of days ago. “Bri, go back inside!” Anthony ordered. Brianna knew she couldn't defy his brother, so she turned around to go back inside. She heard the car doors closing, she turned back and called his brother again. “Ariana could open a portal, but she doesn't have so many places to go here in Crescent moon yet, why don't you begin to look at the places where she has been.” She suggested to Anthony then went back inside. Anthony pondered what his sister said and turned his head to Alex. “I'll drop the two of you to the palace then I am going to check the cottage and see if they were there.” He announced. “Why don't you drive us there at once, I mindlink Uncle Maxwell, they can search the forest nearby and we can search the forest around the cottage if they are not there,” Alex suggested. Anthony drove faster to the cottage. It only takes 1 hour instead 1and half. Anthony could sense that Ariana is nearby. He looked at Alex and he nodded. He parked the car in front of the cottage and burst inside. The three girls who were attending someone on the sofa jumped at the sudden opening of the front door.
