Chapter 7

Hecate

“Good morning sleepy head”, a voice greeted Ariana. She rubs her eyes and looks around her room, I must have imagined it, she thought . She looked around, ran to her closet then went back to her bed, lifted up her blanket. “Where are you? You must be so small that you can hide in this little bedroom I had?” Ariana heard a chuckle in her head.

“I am not little, I am bigger than you to be exact.” A voice said as she jumped in shock.

“Are you my familiar? Where are you? How can you talk to me?”

“Yes and more, I am inside you, I am you, like werewolves had their wolf” the voice announced.

“Can I shift too into your form?” Ariana queried .

“No, and you don't have to speak to me louder. We have our own mind connection.”

“Cool, do you have a name? She asked.

“Hecate,” the voice replied.

“So Hecate, what animal are you? She wondered.

“You will know in the right time” Hecate murmured and Ariana groaned. She went into the bathroom and took a shower. It's Friday and she needs to go to school today. After showering she put on a white fitted shirt and stretch pants.

She went to the kitchen and took out the two chocolate muffins she bought from yesterday. She lit up the birthday candle she'd put in each.

“Happy birthday Freya”, she murmured

then blew the candle and sighed. She was all alone. She opens her door and sees Anthony standing at her front door. She can feel Hecate jumping happily in her head as she beamed “Mate mate mate”. Ariana was speechless” how can it be” she thought. Anthony goes to her and pushes her inside as he closes the door.

“Mate” a husky voice of both Anthony and Dean cried in joy. Anthony gently touches her cheek with so much love and adoration. His emerald green eyes look at her as he slowly lowers his face to kiss her. The sparks exploded from his touch,fanning the flames inside of her as his lips touched hers. She cannot deny the desire she felt as she succumbed into it. She kissed him back passionately as she moaned of pleasure. Anthony's lips move down to her jaw and into her neck, he starts to suck on the spot where his mark will be.

Ariana’s body ignites, she can feel Hecate's pursuing emotion to mark our mates. She puts her right hand into Anthony's marking spot as she releases her magic fullt of love and passion. She gasped and moaned when an electrifying sensation from her neck spread into her body. Anthony holds her jaw and looks at her in the eyes.

“I always knew you’re different and I love you nonetheless as he kissed her again. She pushes Anthony a little to put a distance between them. She had so many questions in her mind that needed answers.

"H….How?" she stammered. He smiled at her as he touched his mark above her shoulder. She can feel sparks and pleasure on it.

“I am half wolf,half wizard”,he began.

“My real father is James Gardien, he is my mothers true mate and a wizard.”

She was in shock, he's half wizard? What does it mean?

“Does he know?" I mean the Alpha”, she wondered.

“I don't think so”.

“But, how did you know?

“ My mother left me her journal before she died, or to be exact, she hid it in my room, so that only me could find it at the right time.” He explained. “ Now that we had marked each other I could now see your necklace.” Anthony continued.

She gasped at the realization, she and Anthony had marked each other. Where will they go after this? How will she be able to leave to find Freya? She's snapped from her thoughts when Anthony holds a box wrapped in a light blue gift paper in front of her. Where did it come from?

“Happy birthday, my love”

He guides her onto the couch. Ariana opens the box, and sees it's a mobile phone. She beams as she turns around and straddles him. From what she could remember she didn't get many gifts on her birthdays. They were always moving around to flee from the dark witches who wanted her mother and aunt. Anthony touches her necklace with his fingers.

“What's more this necklace hides?” He asked her.

“What I know is to hide most of our magic. You see, our magic has surfaced since we were infants.”

“We?” he questions

“Me and Freya, my twin” she sighs.

“Freya?” I forgot to tell you, when we were in the Crescent Moon pack I met this girl and she looks like you, her name is Freya.” Anthony announce.

“She’s in Crescent Moon? Wait..can I already use this?” She takes out the phone in its case and goes to her bedroom, he follows her inside as she takes a piece of paper and dials the phone number written in it.

“Hello, who's this?”

“Is this Freya?"

“Ya.. and who are you?”

“It's me Ariana, you're sister”.
