Chapter 14

Girls time

It has been three weeks since Ariana woke up from a coma. She settled down at the palace with Anthony. The King and the Queen along with the others who live at the palace were so welcoming. She felt at home.

Freya, on the other hand, had decided to give Alex a second chance. They are going on a date tomorrow therefore she needs a new dress. She and Sheila will go with her to the city to look for a perfect dress for her date. Anthony wanted to go with them, to be their bodyguard he said but Ariana just shook her head and pointed out that she and Freya were not helpless.

They would have a girls' time in the city. She was in the kitchen early to get some coffee for herself when three omegas came in. They were the ones in charge in the kitchen. They bowed their heads and greeted her. They worked in sync and chatted while doing each task they had. Ariana saw the difference between Crescent Moon and Bluewater. The omegas here are happy and satisfied with their job compared to Bluewater.

“Miss Ariana, do you want more coffee? She lifted her gaze to Mira, one of the omegas. She looked down on her coffee mug, it was already empty.

“Thanks Mira, I have had enough already. Do you need some help?” She offered.

“We are almost done, Miss.” Mira replied.

“You can call me Ariana, Mira” Ariana went to the sink and rinsed her mug before she put it on the dishwasher. She left the kitchen and went back to their room. Anthony came out from the bathroom with wet hair and a loose towel on his hips. Ariana gulped.

“Do you like what you see?” Anthony teased.

“Yes, I am” she purred and came closer to him as she licked her lips and she slightly scratched Anthony's chest down to his six packs abs. Anthony growled as Ariana laughed and ran to the bathroom.

“Are you sure you don't want me to be your bodyguard?” Anthony asked on their link.

“Yes, I am. It's girls time.” She answered.

“I will be at the packhouse, helping the King and Alex. Some of the Bluewater pack members who were accepted to the King's training program will be coming today.” Anthony announced.

Ariana tensed, she didn't know how they would react when they saw her and found out about her and Anthony. She hurried to the shower and tried to shake out the distressed emotion she has right now. She didn't want Anthony to be worried.

Ariana came out from the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her head and a bathrobe hugging her body. She saw the door was open and Sienna standing outside talking with Anthony.

“Hey Sienna, what's going on? She greeted and asked her.

“Hi honey, I just wanted to give you this”. Sienna pulled out an atm card from her pocket and handed it to her. Ariana was utterly bewildered as she stared the name on it.

“ Me and Chris will forever be Freya’s parents and we will gladly to have one more daughter, like you.” Sienna hinted. Ariana didn't know what to say, tears forming in her eyes. She stepped closer to Sienna and hugged her.

“Thank you, my sister was so lucky to have you and Chris.” She said as tears flowed into her cheeks. Sienna left them to go to the Queen’s wing.

Ariana stared the card in her hand.

Although Freya's parents would provide her all she needed, she still needed to find a job of her own. She wanted to have something she could call hers.

Freya drove to the city with Ariana and Sheila. She was glad that Ariana had gotten along with Sheila very well. They were going to Sienna's boutique first. It was her mothers’ before she met her mate. It's still hers, she's just employed someone to oversee it.

Freya parked the car at the public parking garage. They were happily chatting about Sheila's incoming birthday party. She will soon be eighteen and will be able to shift into her wolf. She hopes Fredrick to be her mate, she loved him since she was fifteen. They went into the boutique and looked for the dresses they have. Ariana excuse herself and went to the comfort room. Sheila went to the other side to look on her own. Freya was contemplating between a green chiffon dress with a slit and a red backless dress which was up to her knees. She took the two to try when she met an icy stare of a lady in front of her.

“You should put it back or I will call the store owner” The lady seethed.

“What? "Do I know you?” Freya asked as she walked past the lady to try the dresses in the fitting room. The lady grabbed her hand and shouted to the clerk.

“What happened here?” The clerk asked as she looked at Freya.

“Freya, hi… how are you? I heard what happened. You missed our last week in school. I'm glad you're recovering.” The clerk jabbered. It was Sophie, one of Freya’s classmates in school.

“ Thanks Sophie, I just want to try on these two dresses. I have a date tomorrow and I need a perfect dress. Freya explained. Sheila came behind Freya with three different dresses in her hand and greeted Sophie. They completely ignored the lady who was rude to Freya. Ariana came back from the comfort room and saw Brianna’s bulging eyes glaring at Freya.

“Brianna, what are you doing? Ariana asked calmly. She didn't want to make a scene inside a boutique. Brianna averted her gaze to Ariana and shouted.

“You!” she pointed her finger at Ariana.

Freya and Sheila come forth to stand in front of Ariana.

“Miss, I think you should leave. You’re scaring my customer.” Sophie spoke up. Brianna hollered in anger and left the boutique. Freya turned to Ariana with a questioning look. Sophie went to attend to some other customer.

“Who is it?” Sheila asked and Ariana took a deep breath.

“ It's Brianna Black, Anthony's little sister.” Ariana muttered.

They resumed their shopping spree.

Freya couldn't decide which she chose between those two dresses so she took both. Ariana looked at the prices of the dresses and hesitated to buy something for herself. They were so expensive for her taste. She had the money she got from Anthony and Freya’s parents but she was still unsure to spend it. Freya bought two more dresses and went to pay. They said goodbye to Sophie and went to the next store. Freya bought some lingerie she'd like and pestered Ariana to buy some pair too. Ariana, give in at the end.
