Seven - Who

I hurried to turn around to see who had pulled me into the room. "Alex? What the hell are you doing?"

"Ashley?", he asked as if he was shocked to see me.

"really? that's how we're going to place this?" I asked in a whisper yell.

"What are you doing here? And play what?"

"You entered me into this competition even after we both agreed that this was the chase of fame?"

"What are you talking about. Why would I do something like that? I had an amazing time with you last night. In fact, I heard my sister and I thought you were her. that's why I grabbed you and pulled you in here."

"Wait what?"

"yes I was waiting for her to come down the hall so that I could talk to her about calling the whole thing off"

"so if you were going to call it off who entered me into the competition?"

"I have no idea but I would never do that to you. How could I ask you to keep a secret for me and turn around and betray you?

"This is really a lot to take in. I have no idea what's going on here but I do know that I don't like it. I don't think I should stay here any longer"

"No please don't leave," he reached out and grab hold of my arm. "don't worry about a thing I'll take care of everything."

"How do you plan on doing that when you are in hiding? Not to mention your parents seems to have it out for me"

"Don't worry about them. They are just bitter because I'm finally taking control of my life."

"Do you think I have a chance at actually winning this thing?", I asked looking into his eyes for reassurance. I've seen the other contestants and wasn't so sure this was my playing field.

"I think that we could use this competition as a way for us to spend all the time we want together to get to know each other better. I had a great time the other night. I'm hoping it wasn't one of those right time right place kind of things."
