Chapter 4

Chapter 4"Prepare the cars, I want to be on the road towards the Golden Light pack by 1pm and no later," I ordered my warriors as they nodded their heads and got to work.

I walked out of the pack house and towards my own home to spend time with Adrianna, after last night she's been on edge and refuses to look me in my eyes.

I didn't expect my wolf to begin rejecting her, s**t I didn't expect to find my mate at the age of 25 in my dreams but apparently the moon goddess has a funny way of moving about things.

"Alpha?" I turned around and noticed my third in command, Nicholas, jogging towards me.

He stopped in front of me and bowed.

"This morning I had a group of the border patrol investigate around the border where you were attacked last night and there were no traces of any other rogues in the area but, judging from their scents, they were very fresh rogues," Nicholas explained.

"The one wolf did say they came from the Supreme Blood Deity pack," I said.

"It's a possibility that their Alpha forced them to go rogue so that they could attack you without leading back to the pack,"

I nodded my head.

"Since you'll be in charge while me and Michael are gone I want you to look more into it and keep me updated on everything that's happening in the pack and what you find," I ordered him.

He bowed and began walking back towards the pack house as I made my way towards my home to find Adrianna.

I walked into the house and noticed Adrianna sitting on the couch reading a book.

"Where is Taylor?" I asked as I sat down on the couch next to her.

"Your sister came to pick her up to spend time with her," She said without looking at me.

I grabbed the book from her and tossed it across the room, causing her to look up at me in surprise.

"What has gotten into you lately?" She asked, slightly fearfully.

"I just want to spend time with you before I go off on this trip," I said as I grabbed her waist and hoisted her up on my lap.

My wolf tried to reject it but I pushed him to the back of my mind.

Do not do this to me right now.

"Are you sure Kaiden?" She said as she lightly placed her hands on the sides of my face.

"Be my release Adrianna," I said seductively.

She smiled and looked down at my lips, waiting for me to make the first move. It was always like this with her, I was always the one to make the first move whether in s*x, important pack decisions or our relationship in general.

It just became so redundant.

I leaned forward and lightly placed a kiss upon her lips and she immediately responded by kissing me back.

She always enjoyed things gentle, slow and tender whenever we had s*x, we were complete opposites but I always adjusted for her satisfaction.

But not today.

There was a deep rumbling inside my body as I felt my wolf trying to push through and take over, I knew what his motives were, if we couldn't f**k our mate then we'll f**k Adrianna in our desired way.

I felt him push me away from control as my hand shot towards Adrianna's neck as he tightened his grip and deepened the kiss. I felt her grab my hand as she tried to take it off her neck.

"Kaiden you know I don't like that stuff," She whimpered.

I growled deeply and stood up as I hoisted her up and walked up the stairs towards the bedroom, I threw her on the bed and crawled on top of her and kissed her deeply while she gripped on my sides from under me.

'Tell me how you feel Kaiden'

That damn voice was enough to get me hard and ready for anything. Without hesitation I broke away and ripped away at Adrianna's shirt causing her to squeal in surprise.

"Kaiden!" She yelled in protest but I growled at her loudly, immediately making her shut up.

I ripped her bra off with one swipe and stared at her naked top half as she blushed under my gaze. Her body didn't affect me like it used to, it was a constant battle in my mind, constantly comparing her to a mate I've only seen in my dreams, a woman whom I've never met nor I might not ever meet. But my wolf was sure of it, he knew who his true mate was and he couldn't take the lies anymore.

'Tell me you love me, Kaiden'

I imagined Adrianna was the woman in my dreams, I imagined I was mating with my mate, I started at her neck, kissing, sucking and biting all down her neck and her chest until I got to her breasts. I heard her whimper and whine.

She never liked it when I marked up her body and bit at her but right now I couldn't help it, my wolf and I liked it rough and he wasn't taking anything less right now.

I captured her n****e in my mouth as I licked around it, feeling her body arch against mine and her hands lightly rake through my hair.

I pulled them down swiftly so that she was left with nothing but her panties on. There was a deep rumbling inside me and I knew my wolf was annoyed. He wanted to feel her warm mouth wrapped around this d**k, he wanted to feel the back on her throat, he wanted her to gag.

But she doesn't like that, that would be too much. I can't make her do that if she doesn't want to.

I wanted to f**k her to release this tension inside me, to calm myself and my wolf but it felt like we were internally battling more and more throughout this.

I slid her underwear down with my teeth and hoisted her legs up on my shoulders. I bit at her inner thigh and felt her claw at my arms in pain.

"Kaiden please don't do that, it hurts," She whimpered.

I stopped and noticed I drew blood, I kissed it and kissed further down until my tongue landed on the folds of her heated wet center. Her back arched off the bed as my tongue flicked around and her moans grew slightly louder but not too loud, she was always self conscious of that. I used my finger to lightly rub against her slit, sending her into a frenzy.

I stopped and sat up as I pulled my pants down and positioned myself at her slick entrance. Without hesitation I slammed into herself, causing her to gasp and squeal in surprise.

My wolf was fully taking over.

He grabbed her hips and began pounding into her, letting out all of his anger, his frustration and need for his mate. He dug his nails into her hips causing her to whimper and him to growl in satisfaction, all I heard was her voice echoing in my mind, I imagined what it would be like to be inside of her, to feel her wet walls closing around my d**k, hearing her moan my name.

"I don't care," He growled out loud, as he bit and nibbled at her shoulder, drawing blood from her. I looked up and noticed tears coming down her face as she tried to look away from me.

THAT IS ENOUGH!!!!

I felt my wolf give me back control and recede to the back of my mind. I stood up and walked away from the bed with my hands rubbing my face.

"f*****g hell!!!" I shouted out loud in frustration.

I couldn't wait, I needed her now. I needed to be with her, she was breaking me down, having me fight with my own wolf. Is this what having a mate is like? Them constantly being on your mind? It was like an obsession.

"Kaiden I'm so sorry, I didn't want to ruin your moment but you were hurting me. You know I don't like that stuff," Adrianna choked out as she wiped away her still falling tears.

"I know I'm sorry, I shouldn't have let my wolf take control like that," I said sexually frustrated and I began putting my clothes back on.

I should be comforting her right now, but whenever I look at her I always compare her to my mate and it angers my wolf even more because she doesn't even compare to her.

'I need you Kaiden'

"Get out of my head! I will find you, no matter what it takes!" I roared out loud, the walls shaking around me.

"What is happening to you Kaiden?" Adrianna asked scared and confused.

She grew up with humans, she never knew just how possessive and obsessed wolves become about their mates. Wolves can go on the brink of insanity for their mates and I was close to that.

As I finished getting dressed I turn to Adrianna and kneeled down to her height and lightly held her face.

"There is a lot I'm going through right now that you wouldn't understand but I still want you to know that I love you," I said ad I lightly kissed her forehead.

She nodded her head and grabbed my hand to kiss my palm.

I felt a deep rumbling inside my chest and I knew my wolf was unhappy with my words. He may not love her and has already claimed his devotion to our mate but I actually do love Adrianna, I've been with her for 5 years and she was the mother of my only child.

We built a connection.
