ELEANOR's POV

I stood alone in the dark woods then the cold winter breeze blew sending shivers down my spine, my vision got blocked and all surrounding me was darkness.

Suddenly, I found myself in a bloody hall I clearly remember that this was the former hall of the clan, the clashing of swords, shrieking and groans of pain from the men and the thick smell of blood filled the atmosphere. The beautifully painted walls had turned bloody due to the spilled blood of vampires and werewolves, I clearly remembered this vision; it was the war eight hundred years ago, ' a bloody nightmare'.

I looked around vampires and werewolves fighting, dead bodies littered everywhere my eyes darted around to where the late clan leader and the alpha were fighting

Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhh!

The late clan leader let out a loud and painful shriek as the alpha stabbed the wooden stake in his heart. The clan leader eyes diluted for a split second then his fangs were immediately withdrawn.

"Papa…. I cried silently, it was the younger version of me

My vision suddenly blurred and I appeared back in the woods, it wasn't the quiet woods I knew it was a bloody mess, blood spilled on the grass causing them to wither and the beautiful trees had been cut down.

In the middle were two men fighting from the looks of it one was was a vampire and the other a werewolf. While fighting the vampire sneakily stabbed the silver sword deep into the werewolf heart.

No! I screamed but they couldn't hear me, my heart felt so much pain like it was pricked by needles and knives. I closed my eyes and my vision blurred once again then I appeared in a void darkness a bursting bright light shot out from the sky revealing a woman clothed in white, it was Selene the moon goddess

" Eleanor" she called out softly

How long will you keep being ignorant; realize your destiny quickly only you can save the world from the impending doom " Selene concluded and disappeared.

I jerked awake from my sleep breathing heavily I looked around and realized I was in my room and there were no dead bodies, everything that happened was a dream or rather a chilling revelation which made my scalp tingle.

Climbing out of the bed I drew opened the curtains curtains it was already dark…

"Ma'am you're awake dinner is ready and the elders are waiting for you" The maid cleaning said and packed all her cleaning stuffs and left.

I took my bath and put on an emerald green floor length silk gown with intricate gold embroidery.

Walking through the corridor with my head high I entered the dinning room. From the entrance I could hear their silent murmuring filled with harsh words but that was the least I cared about.

Walking to the throne I sat down and the elders grudgingly stood up and greeted.

"Greetings clan leader" They said in uniformity and bowed slightly

"Take your seat" I ordered with a stern voice and everyone sat down

"Eleanor what made you keep us waiting?" A woman asked in a rude voice.

"It is clan leader to you and what actually gave you the audacity to question me?" I asked coldly and the woman frozen then flinched.

She quietly picked up the cutlery and started eating with a sour distorted facial expression.

"It's been quite some time since you ascended as clan leader isn't it time to do some serious work" A middle aged looking man asked and smiled slyly

Although the clan looked peaceful some greedy people are still secretly vying for the position of clan leader and are waiting patiently for me to make a mistake so they can pull me down, but I will never let that happen. This clan is my dad's legacy and I'm going to protect it even at the stake of my life.

"You're right since I'm clan leader I need to do some serious work such as removing some ' unwanted leeches' I said after taking a paus
