Eleanor POV

"Princess! you look stunning" Amber my personal maid exclaimed excitedly as she added the final touch of makeup to my face.

"Amber I am doing coronation not wedding" I reminded her for the uptenth time.

"I know but you still need to look pretty" She said happily and added a tiara to my hair

"Now you look perfect" Amber said and brought the mirror closer to my face.

"Princess Eleanor are you nervous?" Amber asked.

"Um…a little bit" I murmured to her looking at my hands.

"Eleanor don't be nervous that is what the late clan Leader taught you to be "Amber said and I pulled her into a deep hug

"Thanks Amber" I said and bring ke the hug just then the door flung open and Arnold my bodyguard walked in.

"Princess the elders and clan members are waiting" Arnold said and I glanced at Amber who gave me a reassuring smile. I closed the door and strides off the stairs with Arnold trailing behind me we stopped in front of a brown wooden long door

"Princess please" Arnold said leading me inside the hall

'Eleanor you can do this' I murmured to myself and took a deep breath then stepped in to the hall. I could feel endless eyes staring at me and quiet murmurings filled the air.

*She is really beautiful

*She is so young to be the clan Leader

*I can't believe my clan leader is a woman

*No doubt she is a pure blood cos of those red eyes

I stopped in front of the altar facing the crowd putting on my biggest and brightest smile for a moment I thought my face would burst from that smile then the old cheif cleared his throat adjusting his spectacle he began to read off an old wooden scroll.

"Miss Eleanor it is time to swear" The old cheif said and brought out a sharp table life and an old piece of rock. I collect the table knife and pierced it on my finger then dropped a drop of blood on the old piece of rock

"Today I miss Eleanor Walkers swear as the the clan leader of red pendant vampire clan I shall fulfill my duties as the leader and protect all members of these clan" I said and turned to the old cheif

"Ladies and gentlemen on behalf of the cheifs of red pendant vampire clan I hereby crown miss Eleanor Walkers the new clan leader of red pendant vampire clan" the old cheif said and placed a glowing red pendant around my neck and a huge dusty book with thick covers on my hands the words “ Vampire ” was inscribed in it then the crowd erupted into loud cheers.

'Father today I will begin to honor your wish' I thought in my mind and let out a smile.
