3. Aaron's Mate

I exit my room and ascended stairs, boys are already gone as they wanted to take Aaron for a men's drink before proper celebration in the club, so we're supposed to meet them at Hammer's. I haven't seen him whole day, as we both decided this will make this evening that much special.
In the living room Tina and Stephy are already waiting for me on a couch. Unfortunately I always take the longest to prepare, today was no exception.
"Aren't we all looking fabulous tonight" - I greet them.
"Yes we do!" - they both cheer at the same time.
"Well Girls, you three are real crown jewels of this Pack." - comes my fathers voice from the entrance.
"Oh, thank you Daddy! You know that with mothers looks and your personality I couldn't be any less, than the best" - i said kissing his chick.
"Baby Girl, I know. Please be safe tonight. I know that you are meeting Boys at the restaurant, so Carl would drive you to the City." - My Dad informed me with a voice leaving no place for discussion.
"Thank you Daddy, you're taking such good care of us." - I answered him playing a good girl he thought I was.
"Ok, have fun and don't you come home too late." - Dad said looking at all three of us one last time before returning to his study.
"Thank you Alpha" - said Tina and Stepny with a slight bow.
We gather our purses and head to the front door.
"Cee, what are we gonna do with Carl driving us to the restaurant." - Tina asked
"Don't worry. Leave it to me." - I smirk to her.
We get to the one of packs black SUVs in which Carl awaits us. Girls get to the back seats, I to the passenger one and all of us drive to the City. As we got near to the Hammer's I decided it was the right time for my diversion with Carl.
"Hey Carl, would you mind dropping us here? I need to go to the stationery and get some gift bag for Aaron's present." - I ask casually breaking the silence
"Ok, go ahead. I'll wait for you." - he answered
"That's ok Carl, you can leave us here. Restaurant is right around the corner. Besides you probably have better things to do that babysit bunch of teanagers" - I insisted
"Alright, but if anything happens before you meet with your brother and the rest mindlink me, ok?"
"Of course Carl. Thank you for driving us" - I said while giving him my best grin ever.
We exit the car waving Carl goodbye, and start our short walk to the Hammer's.
"You are amazing. I still can't believe that Alpha and all warriors eat from the palm of your hand." - Stephy laughs
"I know, right? It's a gift" - I answer her smirking
We walked for about 5 minut to reach Hammer's. As this place is run by a member of our pack and visited mostly by wolves everybody knew who we are, thanks to that we skipped the line up front and went straight to our reserved booth. Music was loud but thankfully in the VIP area we could easily talk. Soon came a waitress and took our order. I know that we are not quite of age to be allowed alcohol, but let's face it, we are werewolves and drinks barely affects us, so in places like this no one cares as long as we behave properly in front of humans.
We drank for a while, we laughed for a while and decided to head to the dance floor before the guys showed up. Among a crowd I've noticed some of our high school fellows. Guess they all wanted to wish their future Gamma a Happy Birthday.
We danced in our little circle and didn't mind any other people there. Guys for obvious reasons, as our Boys are extremely possessive and Girls, let's just say that the best were already present then why invite any others? I was just performing my best move to one of my favourite beats, when accidentally my elbow met someone's shoulder. I look around and see Natalie with a drink spilled on her dress.
"Oh, sorry Nat, I didn't see you there." - I said casually as my mother always told me to be polite even if someone is out of line.
I could see her beige midi dress with a big pink stain on her chest. Ups, I guess it was a bad decision to drink vodka cranberry with that dress. She looked at me dumbfounded and then at her dress. I could see that her eyes were starting to get watterry, but I couldn't understand why. I said I'm sorry, so what's her problem? If she wants I can give her money for that ruined dress. She just gave me a sad smile and started to turn around. Than out of nowhere I heard loud growl and someone screaming
"Mine!"
I turn to the direction of that voice and immediately spot Aaron with eyes fixated on me.
'This is it!' I thought to myself as he started to approach me. I couldn't feel any signs of the amazing smell and time didn't stop, but I blame this on the fact that I'm not 18 yet. Aaron was 3 steps from me when I've noticed that he is not looking directly at me, rather at something behind me. I turned around only to spot Natalie with a slightly opened mouth and eyes glued on my man. I know he looks like a dream but b***h please, have some dignity! When I was about to say something to her Aaron just went past me and stopped in front of her.
"Mate!" - he said looking directly into her eyes
"Mate!" - came her reply
And that's when time stops for me. I felt someone's hand into mine and looked away from the happy couple to see Stephy apologetical look.
"You alright?" - she asks
"No! Take me home. I had enough of this party."
As a single tear escaped my eyes we exited Hammer's and headed for the pack house.
