Roxanne Pierce:-
"Darius, give me the money." I pleaded as he forcefully dragged me with him. "You promised to give me the money for Emma's surgery. You gave me your word. I even asked what you asked me to do. I kept the part of my deal; now it's your time."
"Word? Do you have any proof?" he laughed shamelessly. "You were a fool to trust me because I am not giving you a single penny. Especially after I saw you trying to flirt with that Cross with your eyes."
"No, Darius!" I lost it when he brought me to the clubhouse of the black vulture and straight into its garage. He pushed me to the work desk, slammed the door shut behind me, and locked it. After that, he approached and landed a sharp slap on my face as he grabbed the back of my hair with his fist and banged my forehead against the edge of the desk, making it bleed, and he shouted in my face.
"That's the second time you have talked to me in that tone today, b***h!" he barked, banging my head against the wall this time, then pushed me to the floor, where he kicked and punched me until I could barely move and felt like giving up. My whole body was bleeding and covered in bruises. I was used to his beating and then covering it with makeup, but today he had given me the worst beating until now. He crossed the line when he pulled my pants halfway down and tried to force himself on me.
"You wanted to f**k that Cross. Didn't you?" he demanded and trapped me with his body by getting on top of me after unzipping the fly of his pants. "I am going to give you the f*****g of your life, so that after tonight you won't wish to look towards another man."
"No...Darius...no." I pleaded and cried, "Please...please don't do this."
"Shut up, you whore." he punched me in the right eye. I wanted to give up on my life, surrender to him, but I did not. I was done being weak and desperate. I am Roxanne Pierce. A fighter. A survivor like my father used to say. Just when he was about to push inside of me, I picked up the first closest thing I found in the garage and hit him with it on his face, which made him scream and bleed out in pain. I pushed him off me and stood up and found myself holding the wrench in my hand.
"f**k!" Darius screamed in pain while I trembled in fear and threw the wrench before pulling up my pants and running out of the clubhouse as fast as I could, bleeding, bruised, and broken with one thing in mind only.
Survive.
I got on my father's broken bike and sped out of there to save my life. I didn't know where to go and where to hide. I left with zero plan and knew that if Darius survived, he wouldn't sit quietly or let me live. I needed to get help to keep myself and Emma safe from him, but how? As I was riding, I passed by the clubhouse of Iron Reapers that was lit up with lights and fireworks as they celebrated their victory, and all of a sudden, I came to a halt and looked over there for a few seconds, trying to make up my mind if I should go in there or not.
"f**k! I can't believe I am doing this." I spoke to myself as I parked my broken bike and made my way into the club, or at least I tried to, until I was stopped by a very bulky but tall man with a long beard, a ripped leather jacket, and tattoos of a devil all over his chest, along with his partners.
"Where do you think you are going, pretty rival?" he demanded. "A member of Black Vulture isn't welcome in our club. Don't you know the rules?"
"Please, let me in." I pleaded, looking behind my back and around, scared that Darius might have sent someone to beat me, or worse, kill me. "I am in danger. Please help me out. I am begging you. Please, he will kill me."
"Drop the act, girl." the bulky man's partner snapped. "Do you think we are fools? You are the girl of that bastard Creed, and you...." Before the man could finish the sentence, Zane stepped out of the clubhouse with his vice president beside him, holding the bottle of beer in his hand, and looked at me.
"What's going on over here?" he demanded. "What's with all this disturbance outside of my clubhouse?"
"Boss, she...." I cut the man off halfway by stepping forward and grabbing Zane's arms desperately for help and cried.
"Zane, please help me, or they will kill me," I begged, and all of a sudden felt a shock of electricity pass between us, as he looked at my hand on his arm, then at me, but kept a firm expression with his eyes glaring at me that made me gulp in fear. I was standing in the territory of my enemies, begging them for help and, worst of all, holding the arm of not just anyone but the most feared President of the MC groups, Zane Cross.
"Hey, get your hands off our President right now." Zane's vice president growled, pushing me off Zane as I had dirtied him with my touch. I held onto the railing for support to keep from falling, but I didn't take my eyes off Zane.
"What trick are you trying to play with us, you little bird?" Zane finally spoke for the first time. "What do you want now?"
"I don't want anything. Just your help. Please!" I replied desperately, "Please save me, or they will kill me."
"Who will kill you?" he asked with an arched brow, while taking slow, predatory steps towards me. He looked at my bleeding head and frowned. I swear I even saw him clench his fist. I don't know whether it was anger or sympathy for me, but I even saw his expression soften a little, then snap back to normal in seconds.
"The member of the Black Vulutres and Darius. Please help me." The moment I said those words, everyone looked at one another for a few seconds, all silent, then broke down laughing, holding their bellies and made fun of me while Zane stood serious and quiet.
"You really expect us to believe that your loving boyfriend, whose arms you are always under, wants to kill you along with his bikers?" one of the men from the Iron Reaper group asked.
"Not just killing anyone, but the Queen of Asphalt?" another asked. "That must be a joke, right?"
"Drop the act and tell us why Darius really sent you here?" another biker asked. "To spy on his rival, because he can't be as powerful as us?"
"Stop lying and leave, b***h!" they began to shout and look down on me. They called me names and said I had come to celebrate my loss while they celebrated their win. Everyone, including Zane, began to turn to leave when I held him again. This time, he placed his hand on mine too, held it for a second, then pushed it away rudely.
"Please, help me. I....I have nowhere to go." I begged again, "Don't leave me alone out here. Please."
"You're from the rival MC group. I can't take you in. That's my club's number one rule," he flatly refused on my face and began to leave, but stopped once again, only to look at me over his shoulder and speak. " Don't expect help from me because I hate the ones who fix the race for money."
"Zane, please...."
"I said leave, or I will have you thrown out," he snapped and walked away, leaving me alone in the night, all terrified and bleeding.
