Meeting the man

277 Words
Samantha was waiting in what she considered to be the most luxurious place she'd ever seen, sure beats the usual places she hangs out in. it was wall to wall white, white marble floor, white modern chairs, white coffee table, shelves with white ornaments on, a white orchid sitting right in the centre of the shelves. I am not going to fit in here she thinks to herself, this is the nicest waiting room I've ever seen. Just then a tall slender woman wearing a very short skirt interrupted her thoughts. "Mr Man will see you now. Just through those doors on the right, and his is the door at the end of the corridor. Remember to knock first, and wait for him to respond, don't just go straight in. Okay ? That was me told, she looked at me as though I was beneath her, okay so my skirt suit is a few years old, my makeup is from the drugstore and I don't have legs up to my eyeballs but I am a good PA, I work hard, am first in the office and last to leave and one year at Mr Man's office and I can take my pick of jobs, walk into any office on Wall Street. So I go through the doors and start to make my way to his office, once at his door I take a breath to calm my nerves before knocking. I hear nothing, so knock again slightly louder. This time I hear moans coming from inside the office. What is going on in there ? I knock again and hear shuffling and finally a man shouting "enter".
