Sophia’s POV I stay with him, sitting across from him on the sofa, watching him closely as he continues to sip on the water. The pain seems to be subsiding slightly, but I can still see the discomfort in his eyes. “I’m sorry for making you go Through all this trouble,” he says, breaking the silence, his voice still weak. I shake my head gently. “Don’t apologize. I’m just glad I’m here to help.
