The Kings Want Her

Chapter 7

King Damon P.O.V

I swirl the wine in my glass, watching the guests dancing together with their mate and dwelling their body with the music. My mind moves to the conversation of the meeting last night with the council and the oracle.

“It is confirmed that the next moon goddess has been chosen among the human kind. In order to suppress a great power for the future of the Fallen Kingdom, you have to find her before the werewolves does.” The oracle bows to his King while proposing the plan to take the human who possess moon goddess blood.

“How to find her in the million of human living outside our kingdom. It will cause chaos, and the werewolves will not just sit still.” The power that she holds will help me to secure the Fallen Kingdom. Where are you my queen. I close my eyes looking for a solution. It is impossible to kidnap all woman and bring them here. The werewolves will step into the matter too.

“The only way to know the girl with the moon goddess blood is, when her blood is out from her veins, it would make us vampires go frenzy and driven with such a lust of dominating her to satisfy the hidden demon in ourselves. It is quite risky, since we are not the one born with patience. That is why she must be handled with care to avoid argument among vampires.”

The council starts talking to each other. Trying to come out with their plan on finding this girl. I know they are all are excited in finding this girl just for the sake of power of our kingdom. What the oracle said will help them to track this human girl.

“If you agree my king, I will instruct all of the vampires to find her but of course without alarming the werewolves.”

The member of council proposes his plan for the meeting. I am desperate to find her before the werewolves do. She is destined to be mine and only mine. I grant his request and the news of finding the moon goddess has spread the entire kingdom. It is about time when you will be presented to me my dear queen.

I continue sipping the wine till the last drop. I could see my trusted friend James, is coming to my way. He is the best tracker that I hope to work with in finding this human girl. Precaution should be prioritized as I do not trust the council as much as I trust him. Their judgement must be clouded by the power and I do not wish to lose my throne for anyone.

“My king, do you wish for my presence?” James looks with respect to his king while bowing upon him.

I grant for him to come closer to discuss the matter. He nods and walking up to the few stairs and take a position beside me.

“I need you to find the human girl who possess the moon goddess blood before the werewolves get her first. Work in silence James. I don’t want to deal with the furry beast in my kingdom later. Do you understand?” I watch him agreed without asking questions.

“Yes, my king. I will surely hand her to you soon. You have my words.” I smirk. You will give me your great power my queen. Soon you will be trap in my embrace in this kingdom for the eternity.

I continue the conversation casually with him. He seems to bring a human pet for tonight, but I didn’t get to see her in the crowd of vampires on the dancing floor.

“Where is your human pet. I don’t get to see what kind of a catch you made during the hunting.” I tease him knowing that he knows how to find a good one for every hunting. He chuckles while his eyes travel to the crowd.

“This one is kind a special. I leave her at the table before coming to you. She is very cute with her big round eyes fearing for me. I…” He does not finish his word when we heard the loud scream and tables flip over.

The crowd stop dancing and watch the root of the mess. When we get there, James throws Vlad to the wall. That guy must be touching what is his. How dare he put a show in my castle with my presence. I see a girl is trying to cover her bleeding neck.

“How dare you touch my human!” He clenches his jaw while beating him with all his might. Vlad laugh after getting so much punch and kick in the face.

“Now I know why you’re being like this. She tastes sweet… I couldn’t get enough of her.” He provokes James make him burst in anger. He grabs his collar and throw him at the tables.

“Enough!” I stop him from acting like a maniac. He curls his hand into fist and starts to calm down. His eyes look for his human pet frantically.

“Bring this man to the dungeon for making up a mess in my castle.” I could see his face changing when the guards force him to stand up and bring him away.

I could see James embraces the human pet in his harms. Her blood scent is filling in the air. It smells so good and makes me take a deep breath of it. The other vampires are filling the same as I do when we were getting drunk and driven to walk to her. Our eyes are darkening to our desire of her blood.

“What is happening, I want to drink from her delicate body so bad.” I try to brush away the lust.

“My king, I am afraid she is the one we are looking for. The other vampires are getting frenzy with her blood. You must do something before they act like Vlad.” The oracle comes to me and I am surprised that we have found her here.

The other vampires are approaching her body. I must order them out of the castle immediately. Things will become worse if I have to fight these vampires at once.

“I believe the party is over. I need you all out immediately.” The vampires ignore my order and baring their fangs, ready to devour the sweet blood in front of them.

“You dare to defy my order! If you take a step again, I will throw you into the dungeon with the charge of the treason.” With that all the vampires begin to retreat their steps and out of the castle immediately.

The girl is dying. How much did Vlad drinks from her?

“She is the girl I ask you to find. Now, let me bring her with me. You can go home.” I didn’t get to take her, he already bites her neck. My anger rises when he takes what is supposedly mine. I am ready to fight with this guy when oracle stop me.

“My king, he is not in his right mind.” I calm myself down to talk to him.

“James, enough!” His eyes still darken.

“She’ll die if you don’t stop drinking from her! Do you want that.” He stops abruptly on what he is doing. He stares at her in sorrow. He rubs his hair and carry her petite body in his arms while looking at me intently.

“I’ll carry her to your room. Help her.” I nod in agreement. I ask the oracle to get the doctor right away.

‘Please survive my queen.’ I glance at her pale looking face before we hurried to my room.
