As Xu Baili entered, the gate closed as the voice greeted with a cheerful yet heavy tone: "Welcome!"

"As the soon to be my apprentice, I will permit you to ask me questions, three questions."

And as the voice finished, Xu Baili stood there not knowing what to ask, everything seemed to have happened so suddenly.

Asura then spoke to Argus: 'You should take this, you know, I'm not really fond of speaking and using my head.'

Argus nodded his head, he looked ahead and started walking while gazing throughout the surrounding. As expected, as it was outside, although it looked like a colorful wood outside... well, it's still the same thing inside, you can barely see anything other than wood.

Truthfully, he expected for the palace to be bigger, but to his disappointment, it's only around fifty meters long and a hundred meters wide. It's also as tall as ten normal houses stacked together.

Xu Baili then arrived at the last part of the castle, there, a throne room with only a single throne with no other decoration within the room like everything else.

But there's a table beside the throne, on top of it are three things, two sticks that seemed to have the same origin as the ones that were used for the castle, Also, between these two sticks is a bronze pendant.

Xu Baili then stood there and waited, after 15 minutes, the voice chuckled: "Well, why not ask a question?"

"I'd rather ask when I know at least something." Argus replied calmly.

The voice chuckled once more before continuing: "As expected, you're really the bright one."

"The other one must be the sharp part."

"I guess you can't really read what we think, instead, you can judge it through something." Argus spoke.

The voice smiled, simply by his question, Argus made such a conclusion, making him most satisfied with this result.

Soon, a glowing light appeared in the middle of the throne, it glowed slightly brighter as the silhouette of a human appeared. And after just a few seconds, the whole person appeared.

His fluttering white robe adorned with red and black patterns, his silky black hair and eyes as dark as the abyss, and not to mention, his devilishly beautiful handsome face, seemingly crafted like that of a God's perfect features.

He descends on the throne and sat comfortably, placing his elbow on the arm's rest and formed a loose fist and placed his chin on it, a smile formed on his lips as he gazes at Xu Baili.

"Now, isn't it nice to finally meet someone after thousands of years of seclusion."

Truthfully, even Xu Baili... Argus and Asura were stunned for a moment, it's a face that males wouldn't even dare to be jealous of.

Noting their dazed expression, the voice, or rather, the man smiled with a chuckle, even that may had made females faint from feeling blessed, he asked: "Shall we start?" Since he materialized, his tone changed to that of a normal person.

Xu Baili regained his composure and nodded his head: "Yes."

"I am surnamed Mo, my name had long been forgotten." The man surnamed Mo spoke, he paused for a bit before continuing: "Well, since you've become my apprentice, shouldn't you do the respectful thing to do?"

Truthfully, even after fourteen years of living in this world, Argus and Asura haven't blended with their culture, but they still knew of their culture, Xu Baili kneeled down and kowtowed: "Master, this apprentice greets you."

Mo chuckled and nodded his head, then, he waved his hand: "Good, now stand."

He sighed and pointed his hands on the table: "These three things are the only things I've prepared for your acceptance, so, do think of it as the first and last object you'll ever receive from me."

Xu Baili didn't know what these three things are, but they still nodded their head: "Yes!" And took it, inserting it in their robe's pocket.

Master Mo looked at them for a while before shaking his head with a sigh: "Well, I'll permit you to ask as many questions as you want, so long as they are minor things, but I'll only permit you three questions involving major things."

Xu Baili smiled, he saluted with his hand and fist cupped together and spoke: "Thank you, master."

He then took the two sticks out and asked: "These things are?"

Master Mo chuckled: "Well, it's actually a weapon, it can materialize into something you put your mind into."

"As for the necklace, it's actually the key to this place, as soon as you take it out, you'll bring this place out of the shrine as well."

"Which means, you'll be able to enter this place as much as you want, freely as you can."

Xu Baili nodded his head, but before he could speak once more, Master Mo added: "Also, those sticks are... how should I say this, well, currently, they can at most have the same strength as that of a 10-star Mortal high weapon.

And with just that, Master Mo vanished without leaving a single trace.

Xu Baili had a solemn look: "To think, in this world, people would willingly live for so long just to keep their promise."

They couldn't help but clench their fist hard at the necklace before they wore it. Immediately, they were transferred out of the castle and back to the rundown courtyard.

As he spoke, he cut his palm and let his blood drip the pendant. Immediately, a bright light wrapped around his body as he completely vanished from his spot.

As soon as he opened his eyes,  he got back into the castle, but he felt speechless.

The person sitting on the throne is... their master, he chuckled, bit on the apple on his hand and spoke: "Hey~"
