Ethan's POV
Today's sun felt strange. It wasn't there. What was going on?
"Oh s**t!" I slept off in the security camera room. Explains why my back hurt like hell.
I tried to recall why I slept here….
Oh yes! Fred. I quickly left the room and headed to my own room where Amanda slept soundly. I looked at the wall clock. It was still 4:00am. I was up early. There was absolutely nothing to do.
I walked up to Kathy's room. I stood there at the door for a couple of seconds before ringing the bell. Once, twice.
Finally, the door opened.
I got in and shut the door behind me. Kathy was watching a movie. She didn't look like someone who had a quality sleep, or any sleep at all.
I gently sat on the bed, allowing her to feel at ease.
